  • Patent number: 4680642
Abstract: An original divided in a plurality of regions is photoelectrically scanned and its reproduction is then recorded. Signals from a plurality of photodetectors arranged to detect each desired common region of the original in accordance with a signal representing its corresponding scanning position and its corresponding signal stored in advance in a memory device are selectively switched over and output to the recording side in accordance with sequential scanning of the plurality of regions in the original. The above method assures high productivity without need for special skill or expensive facilities.

Date of Patent: July 14, 1987
Assignee: Dainippon Screen Seizo Kabushiki Kaisha
Inventors: Noriyuki Shimano, Isao Tokura, Mitsuhiko Yamada
  • Patent number: 4485964
Abstract: A multiplicity of special points are identified and recorded as a photoelectrical scanning process. Each special point is marked as an annular pattern on a pattern sheet. The ground of the pattern sheet, the annular pattern and the interior of the annular pattern may have various optical densities and color properties and through detection of such optical properties with at least one light receiving head the exact center of the interior of the annular pattern is detected. This method will be highly useful in automatically drilling holes for mounting component parts in a printed circuit board as a process in the manufacture of printed circuit boards.

  • Patent number: 4447113
Abstract: A setup condition recorder for a color scanner for reproducing a reproduction picture, wherein an original picture to be reproduced, secured to a picture mount means, is scanned by a pickup head to obtain a picture signal, and wherein an operational unit determines setup conditions for the color scanner from the picture signal, and the setup conditions are recorded on a recording medium by a recording unit.

  • Patent number: 4432613
Abstract: A method for controlling exposure light beams for use in a picture reproducing machine such as a color scanner and a color facsimile, wherein a light beam is supplied to an acoustooptical deflector and is deflected thereby to obtain diffraction light beams which are incident to fixed light paths and are used for exposing a recording film, and wherein the diffraction light beams are controlled by varying a frequency of a supersonic wave supplied to the acoustooptical deflector so that each diffraction light beam may be or may not be incident to the respective light path.

  • Patent number: 4414636
Abstract: A color control simulator for a picture reproducing machine such as a color scanner and a color facsimile, wherein an input means such as a pickup head scans an original picture to obtain color separation picture signals which index a memory table stored in a memory to output first color-corrected color separation picture signals, wherein the first color-corrected color separation picture signals of the table are replaced with second color-corrected color separation picture signals which are output by a color control means such as a color controller and a key board, and wherein a display means displays colors corresponding to the color-corrected color separation picture signals fed from the memory. A computer controls the input means, the memory, the color control means, and the display means.

  • Patent number: 4410909
Abstract: A method for automatically determining the color control conditions such as a highlight point, shadow point, a gradation control, color correction, and so forth, for a picture reproduction for use in a picture reproducing machine such as a color scanner and a color facsimile, wherein an original picture is scanned photoelectrically to pick up color separation picture signal data of the primary colors. The signal data is classified into groups to obtain a distribution condition, and according to the distribution condition obtained the color control conditions are determined.
