The metal sherbet is metal, such as In-Ga binary system, in which solids of In-Ga solid solution are dispersed in an In and Ga liquid at a temperature obtained under normal operations of the semiconductor device and the cooling unit.

An oscillation coil of an oscillator which generates the external radiation electromagnetic wave projects from the main body of the inspection device. The main body encloses a signal processor which detects and processes any change in oscillation state which has taken place at the oscillator, as caused by the resonance state of the resonator, and a display to display the result of the signal processing by the signal processor.

    Abstract: An optical data recording system has real time error checking by sensing the level of reflected radiation from the high energy level pulse used to form a spot on a disc, and then comparing the sensed level with a reference signal to thus sense a recording failure or defect in the disc. The sensed signal may be voltage shifted by passing through a coupling capacitance with the output discharged during an initial portion of the recording. Additionally, the reference signal may be derived from the sensed signal by passing through a second capacitive coupling circuit whose output is clamped to zero during a standby mode, the reference output being inverted and reduced by a fixed ratio to provide a proper reference voltage.

    Abstract: The enclosed electronic flash device for a camera includes a booster circuit connectible to an electrical power source or battery, a high voltage rectifier diode for rectifying the output of the booster circuit, and a storage capacitor. A main power supply switch and an auxiliary power supply switch are connected in series between the negative poles of the power source and capacitor. The auxiliary power supply switch is arranged to close when the flash device is attached to the camera. A signal terminal is connected to the negative pole of the storage capacitor through other circuit elements and another signal terminal is connected to one contact of the auxiliary power supply switch, which is connected in turn to the negative pole of the storage capacitor. The auxiliary power supply switch is connected in series with the main power supply switch at a point farther from the negative terminal of the battery than the main power supply switch.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an assembly of an elongated container and a plug therefor. The container has defined therein a receiving space for contents, an opening through which the contents are filled into the receiving space and discharged therefrom, and an annular ridge formed at a location spaced from the opening toward the receiving space a predetermined distance. The annular ridge defines a throat having a circumferentially continuous, planar sealing surface extending substantially longitudinally of the container a predetermined distance. The plug is threadedly engageable with the container so as to open and close the opening by axial one end of the plug. An annular resilient sealing member carried on the other axial end of the plug is in sealing contact with the planar sealing surface with the opening being closed by the axial one end of the plug threadedly engaged with the container.

The nonwoven fabric is comprised of 10-70 wt. % of a regenerated cellulose fiber, 5-60 wt. % of a polyester fiber and 25-75 wt. % of a heat-bondable composite polyolefin fiber, and the web is predominantly comprised of a polyester fiber. The absorbent articles absorb a body fluid at an enhanced rate and have a feeling of dryness even after such absorption.

    Abstract: A recording light beam from an argon laser is modulated with an electrical recording signal and then recorded on a rotating disc-shaped record medium. Immediately after this recording, a recorded signal on the record medium is reproduced with a light beam from a helium-argon laser and converted into an electrical signal. Duty cycles of both signals are sensed by respective duty cycle sensors. A differential amplifier produces a differential signal between the sensed duty cycles and supplies it to an optical modulator arranged to control the output of the recording laser. The modulator controls the recording light beam to its optimum light level for recording in response to the differential signal which was detected just before its modulation.

A first reproducing optical system forms a reproducing spot fixed with respect to the recording spot on the record surface for monitoring purposes, and a second reproducing optical system with the greater part of the optical components thereof common to the first reproducing optical system and also including a rotatable reflecting mirror for forming a tracking spot on the record surface. The tracking spot is movable on the recorded signal by the rotation of the mirror in response to the light reflected from the record surface for causing the tracking spot to accurately track the pitted signal on the record surface.
