  • Publication number: 20250133431
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a set of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs). The UE may receive an indication of a set of physical cell identifiers (PCIs) associated with the set of SSBs, wherein the set of PCIs are stored in association with the set of SSBs. The UE may refrain from performing a measurement on a first SSB, in the set of SSBs, wherein the first SSB is associated with a same PCI, in the set of PCIs, as a second SSB that is included in the set of SSBs and is measured. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Publication number: 20250098022
Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to configuring a device to skip multiple paging early indication (PEI) occasions. An indication of a skip duration of multiple discontinuous receive (DRX) cycles to skip in monitoring for a paging early indication (PEI) can be received, and a reduced power state can be entered for the skip duration. After the skip duration, an increased power state can be entered to monitor for the PEI, a synchronization signal block (SSB), or one or more reference signals.

  • Patent number: 10420107
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine whether at least one frequency band, designated for device-to-device communication of the user equipment, is associated with an active SCC of the user equipment; and selectively perform the device-to-device communication using a particular communication chain of the user equipment based at least in part on whether the at least one frequency band is associated with the active SCC, wherein the particular communication chain is tuned to the at least one frequency band for communication using the active SCC. Numerous other aspects are provided.

  • Publication number: 20180183933
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. A first wireless communication device may transmit, to a second wireless communication device and a third wireless communication device, an indication that the first wireless communication device is in a ringing state based at least in part on a first call message associated with the second wireless communication device and a second call message received from the third wireless communication device. The second call message may be received while the first wireless communication device is in the ringing state due to the first call message. The first wireless communication device may selectively proceed based on at least one of the first call message or the second call message in response to user input that indicates whether to accept at least one of the first call message, the second call message, or both the first call message and the second call message.

  • Patent number: 9942514
Abstract: The disclosure generally relates to optimizing power consumption while one or more users are inactive during a video call. More particularly, according to various aspects, a current camera view may be captured at a first user equipment (UE) during a video call with at least a second UE. In response to the first UE determining that a user associated with the first UE is inactive on a camera at the first UE (e.g., when no faces are visible in the current camera view), the first UE may reduce uplink transmissions that are allocated to video content corresponding to the current camera view while the user associated with the first UE is inactive on the camera.
