  • Patent number: 11410110
Abstract: Provided are techniques for alert generation based on a cognitive state and a physical state. Wearables data, text communications, voice communications, and images of a caregiver providing care to a patient are obtained. The wearables data, the text communications, the voice communications, and the images are analyzed to identify a cognitive state and a physical state of the caregiver. The cognitive state and the physical state are compared to one or more care rules associated with tasks of the caregiver for the patient. In response to the comparison indicating any one of the cognitive state and the physical state prevent the caregiver from executing the tasks, an alert is generated. One or more recommendations for resolving the alert based on one or more recommendation rules are generated.

  • Patent number: 11181982
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for reducing notifications on a user device to mitigate a user's injury associated with repetitive stress of using the user device. One or more notifications associated with the user device are received. A notification profile associated with the user is generated based on the received one or more notifications. In response to a query, position data and vital sign data associated with the user is received. The received position data and vital sign data associated with the user is analyzed and a health score associated with the user is calculated based on analyzed position data and vital sign data. In response to determining the health score deviates from a threshold range, the generated notification profile associated with the user is modified. One or more notifications alerts are communicated to the user based on the modified notification profile.

  • Publication number: 20200398112
Abstract: The present disclosure provides for attention and exertion based safety mechanisms in exercise devices by: identifying a user exercising on an exercise device while the exercise device is in a first state; monitoring a physical state and an attentiveness level of the user while the exercise device is in the first state, wherein monitoring the attentiveness level includes monitoring targets of a gaze of the user within a time window and a consistency of the gaze within the time window; determining, based on the physical state and the attentiveness level of the user, that the user is experiencing a risk of injury above a predefined threshold; and adjusting the exercise device from the first state to a second state to alleviate the risk of injury.

  • Patent number: 10671142
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for providing social-geofenced-based application management for battery maximization. Social traffic information is collected for a defined cohort of persons within one or more predefined geofences, wherein the defined cohort of persons is based on one or more individual or group attributes, and the social traffic information includes battery usage for devices used by the defined cohort of persons. The social traffic information is analyzed to classify conditions derived therefrom into one or more categories. Application performance is controlled on a user's device, based on the conditions classified into the categories, to optimize battery usage of the user's device.

  • Publication number: 20200168345
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to prioritizing processing resources for a health care processing system. In various embodiments, a new message received by a health care processing system is detected. The message includes a plurality of parameters. A crowdsourced model is determined based on at least one of: geographical data from queries to the health care processing system, lock contention in the health care processing system, number of queries to the health care processing system, results of queries to the health care processing system frequently searched terms from websites, frequently occurring terms from websites, and trending topics from websites. A processing priority of the new message is determined based at least on the plurality of parameters and the crowdsourced model. The new message is assigned to a data processing queue based on the processing priority.
