Abstract: A seismic brace or restraint for supporting the spine of lengths of electric cable tray. The seismic brace has a generally U-shaped yoke. The ends of the spines of two adjacent sections of cable tray are supported between the arms of the yoke. A cap over the yoke is supported by a hanger rod. The hanger rod inhibits the cap from moving vertically. The cap and yoke have formations enabling the yoke to be slid longitudinally of the cable tray into position at the cap with the cable tray spines in the yoke. Lateral struts extend in opposite directions laterally from the cap to inhibit lateral motion of the brace. Longitudinal struts extend in opposite longitudinal directions from the cap to inhibit longitudinal motion of the brace. The struts are supported on side brackets positioned on the cap.

Abstract: A section of a cable tray is adapted for being mounted on a vertical surface, like a wall, a line of columns or a soffit. The cable tray section includes an upper wall mounting section having an external wall part for being mounted to the wall, a lower external wall section which is indented from the upper wall section, having an inner wall which defines one wall of the tray. A space inside the wall mounting section receives a splice shunt block for attachment to an adjacent tray section. A tray floor section extends out from the inner wall of the wall mounting section. Various stiffeners are disclosed for the tray section floor. An outer wall extends up from the tray floor completing the U-shape of the tray section. The tray section may be an integral metal or plastic extrusion. Alternatively, it may be bent into shape from one or more sheets of metal. A splice shunt block joins adjacent wall mounting sections.

Abstract: A fluent material mixer having a bottom barrel section with a mixed material exit and an upper barrel section from which an operating plunger shaft projects. The two barrel sections contain materials which are separated from each other and are to be mixed together prior to extrusion. A breakable separator is disposed between the barrel sections. A fluent material mixer plate with material bypassing holes defined in it is disposed on and movable through the barrel sections by the plunger shaft. A wiper is detented to position at the upper end of the upper barrel section. The wiper includes a plate without openings through it and it sealingly engages the interior of the barrel sections. A sleeve at the radially inward edge of the wiper wraps around the shaft for sealing against fluent materials moving out of the barrel sections along the shaft.
