Publication number: 20240119691Abstract: A system and method for lean ortho correction for computer models of structures. The system displays an image of a structure on a user interface and projects a structure model onto the image. Next, the system identifies a first world three-dimensional (“3D”) point in the image, a second world 3D point in the image, and a third world 3D point in the image. The system then transforms coordinates of the structure model using the first world 3D point, the second world 3D point, the third world 3D point, and a lean ortho correction algorithm.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2023Publication date: April 11, 2024Applicant: Insurance Services Office, Inc.Inventor: Ismael Aguilera Martín de los Santos

Patent number: 11552652Abstract: Systems and methods for lossless compression of tabular numeric data are provided. The system can include one or more data compression servers executing data compression system code to compress the tabular numeric data, a storage database to store the compressed tabular numeric data, and one or more data decompression servers to decompress the tabular numeric data for use. The one or more data compression servers, the storage database, and the one or more data decompression servers can communicate via a communication network. The system can receive the uncompressed tabular numeric data from one or more data generation systems, processes the uncompressed tabular numeric data with the data compression system code, and generate a compressed table of numeric information, which can be stored in the database, or later decompressed by the one or more data decompression servers.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2021Date of Patent: January 10, 2023Assignee: Insurance Services Office, Inc.Inventor: Ismael Aguilera Martín de Los Santos

Publication number: 20220350939Abstract: A system and method for generating a parametric model of a roof structure comprising a processor in communication with a memory. The system receives a plurality of parameters of each roof component composing the roof structure and performs a geometry creation based on the received plurality of parameters. The system generates a constrained three-dimensional geometry based on an output of the geometry creation, and displays a three-dimensional model of the roof structure based on the constrained three-dimensional geometry.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 19, 2022Publication date: November 3, 2022Applicant: Insurance Services Office, Inc.Inventors: Bryce Zachary Porter, John Caleb Call, Ismael Aguilera Martín de Los Santos, Ángel Guijarro Meléndez, Jeffery D. Publication number: 20220270323Abstract: Computer vision systems and methods for supplying missing point data in point clouds derived from stereoscopic image pairs are provided. The system retrieves the at least one stereoscopic image pair from the memory based on a received geospatial region of interest, and processes the at least one stereoscopic image pair to generate a disparity map from the at least one stereoscopic image pair. The system then processes the disparity map to generate a depth map from the disparity map. The depth map is then processed to generate a point cloud from the depth map, such that the point cloud lacks any missing point data. Finally, the point cloud is stored for future use.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 18, 2022Publication date: August 25, 2022Applicant: Insurance Services Office, Inc.Inventors: Ángel Guijarro Meléndez, Ismael Aguilera Martín de Los Santos, Jose David Aguilera

Publication number: 20220222909Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting the location and scale of a three-dimensional (“3D”) model of an object to conform to a georeferenced point cloud are provided herein. The 3D model and the georeferenced point cloud are rendered in a shared 3D coordinate system and the 3D model and the georeferenced point cloud are aligned from a first point of view. An affine transformation matrix is calculated based on a best fitting plane of the point cloud and a corresponding face of the 3D model to align the best fitting plane and the corresponding face of the 3D model. The affine transformation matrix is then applied to all coordinates of the 3D model to generate a new 3D model that aligns with the georeferenced point cloud from a second point of view.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 10, 2022Publication date: July 14, 2022Applicant: Insurance Services Office, Inc.Inventors: Javier Juarez, Ismael Aguilera Martín de los Santos
