Abstract: A washing machine lye container comprising two halves which have connecting means on the mouth 1, 2 of their open base section to execute the fixing of the two one to the other; one of the mouths 1 of the two halves comprises a plurality of radial extensions 3, 3a with an opening 4, 4a which has two sections 5, 5a, 6, 6a in whose connecting region it has a smaller diameter 15, 18. The mouth 2 of the other half has a plurality of pins 8 with an axial through hole 10 in whose rear access dowels 13 are contained in the through hole 10. In addition, the pins comprise slots 9 so that the walls can be tapered to a smaller diameter when the pin 8 is inserted into the opening 4, 4a of the radial extension 3, 3a and for spreading when the dowel 13 is driven into the through hole 10 of the pin 8.

Abstract: The drum (1) is fixed to a mounting star (2), on which a shaft (4) for drive of the drum is fixed. The fixing is achieved by means of arrangement of several openings (6) in the mounting star (2) with different entry and exit diameters, whereby a tip (8) corresponding to each opening (6) is arranged on the drum (1), which is introduced through the smallest hole in the opening (6). The tip (8) is subsequently deformed such that the outer surface thereof is pressed against at least the walls (7) of the opening (6), whereupon the fixing is generated.

Abstract: Disclosed is a washing machine drum comprising a cylindrical shell (3) that is provided with several flood holes (4) and a front wall and a rear wall, the peripheries of which are connected to the cylindrical shell (3) by means of a lock seam (5). Said lock seam (5) is reinforced by stamping (6) all the sheet metal layers thereof so as to prevent the lock seam (5) from tearing during high-speed tumbling. The cylindrical shell (3) is also provided with several depressions (7) increasing the surface of the shell (3) so as to render the shell (3) more resistant and elastic such that any bulge that might be formed in the shell (3) during high-speed tumbling will affect the depressions (7) but not the lock seam (5), whereby the lock seam is protected.
