  • Patent number: 10060508
Abstract: A invention relates to a chain shackle for fastening a hoist chain of a chain hoist to a hoisting member or the chain hoist. The chain shackle includes two identical shackle halves installable against each other to work together in such a manner that they form between them a first space for one chain loop or chain loop half of the hoist chain to lock it against the hoisting direction or force. The first space is open in a first direction in the longitudinal direction of the chain shackle. A second space is connected to the first space and intended for a second hoist chain loop that is coupled with the first chain loop or is to be coupled with a chain loop half. The second space is open in both longitudinal directions of the hoist chain.

  • Patent number: 7077245
Abstract: The structure and operation of a brake 1? associated with an electric motor driven chain hoist 2?, according to FIG. 6, are exactly the same as those of the manually operated system, except that a shaft 4a? of the electric motor rotor 4? as well as an extension 4b? thereof form a drive shaft and the second cam part 6, the brake disc/clutch disc arrangement 9, 10, 8, a driven input shaft 7? of a hoisting apparatus 2? and the hoisting apparatus 2? itself are arranged between an electric motor 3? and the first cam part 5 on the drive shaft 4b? in such a manner that the second cam part 6 with the components 8, 9 fastened thereto may rotate therein and move axially and the input shaft 7? of the driven hoisting apparatus 2? may rotate, since the rotor 4? is placed on the opposite side of the system compared with the manually operated system shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 so that the extension 4b? of the shaft 4a? of the rotor 4? has to move through the input shaft 7?.

  • Patent number: 6877594
Abstract: A disc brake to be opened by torque is arranged between a drive shaft and a driven shaft and comprising a brake wheel arrangement arranged between the drive shaft and the driven shaft, a friction surface arrangement arranged to co-operate with the brake wheel arrangement, at least one spring device arranged to press the brake wheel arrangement and the friction surface arrangement axially against each other, and a cam arranged between the drive shaft and the brake wheel arrangement, and the cam causing by the impact of the torque or rotation of the drive shaft and the possible countertorque of the driven shaft the relative axial position between the brake wheel arrangement and the friction surface arrangement to change in order to detach at least partly the braking engagement against the spring force caused by the spring device.

  • Patent number: 6515385
Abstract: A method and an arrangement for adjusting the disc brake of a squirrel cage motor, the squirrel cage motor having a stator, a rotor arranged on a shaft of the motor and having a deflector for deflecting part of the magnetic field of the stator to a stray flux of the magnetic field of the rotor in the direction of the shaft, the motor further having an armature arranged on the shaft, a flexible element arranged between the deflector and the armature for pushing the armature away from the deflector, at least one brake disc supported to a motor frame via at least one slot, at least one trigger gear arranged on the shaft and a shaft bearing.

  • Patent number: 6352140
Abstract: The invention relates to a disc brake to be opened by torque, the disc brake being arranged between a drive shaft (3) and a driven shaft (11) and comprising a brake wheel (12) arranged on the driven shaft (3) non-rotatably in the peripheral direction; a friction surface (15) arranged to cooperate with the brake wheel (12); a spring device (14) arranged to press the brake wheel (12) axially against the friction surface (15) and means (19 to 21) causing, by the action of the torque and torsion of the drive shaft (3) and a possible counter-torque of the driven shaft (11), the brake wheel (12) and the friction surface (15) to drift axially apart and, accordingly, the braking coupling between them to loosen against the spring force of the spring device (14), whereby the drive shaft (3) and the driven shaft (11) are interconnected in such a way that they may turn a restricted rotational angle with respect to each other and that means for causing said axial displacement and for loosening the braking coupling compris

  • Patent number: 6209690
Abstract: A load brake having a load shaft, a flange-like pressure plate fixedly mounted onto the load shaft, and a cogwheel arranged on the load shaft. A tension device produces an axial motion and force in the cogwheel as the wheel rotates with respect to the load shaft, and a ratchet wheel is mounted between the pressure plate and the cogwheel. A pawl prevents the rotation of the ratchet wheel at least in the release direction of the load shaft, and friction surfaces are provided between the pressure plate and the ratchet wheel, and the ratchet wheel and the cogwheel. Rotation that tends towards the release direction of the load shaft and that is faster than the speed of rotation of the cogwheel brings the pressure plate and the cogwheel closer together in the axial direction and presses them against the ratchet wheel.
