  • Patent number: 8366289
Abstract: A personal light apparatus, the apparatus comprising: a resting base having a flat portion and a battery compartment for receiving a battery; a light having a flexible tube, the flexible tube attached to the resting base; a switch in electrical communication with the battery and the light, wherein the switch turns on and off the light; and at least one attachment means for removably attaching a time keeping apparatus to the flat portion.

  • Publication number: 20040231083
Abstract: An ergonomic paintbrush where the handle of the paintbrush is offset from the brush head and the bristles. In one embodiment, the brush handle has a curved shape to better fit a person's hand and to be perpendicular to the surface being painted without any significant angling of the wrist. The offset handle results in less hand fatigue for the painter, which permits the painter to paint a larger surface in a day. The advantage of the bristles being perpendicular to the surface being painted is a more uniform application of paint and less paint dripping from the brush. This allows for a faster application of the paint with less paint wasted.

  • Patent number: 6357631
Abstract: The container has a varied sized substance body chamber with a channel at an exit end. This channel is sealed by a breakaway tab at an end distant form the chamber. Within the channel is a positive seal valve that can reseal the container after it has initially been opened. This valve is comprised of an upper wall of the channel being in a close contact with the lower wall. The lower wall usually will have a concave shape, with the upper wall contacting the lower wall with a mating convex shape. However this is not required with the channel having many differing shapes and dimensions. This valve can be separated from the substance holding body chamber by a portion of the channel, can be at the junction of the storing chamber and the channel or can be at the junction of the exit of the channel. When a compressive pressure is applied to the substance holding chamber, the substance flows down the channel to the valve.

  • Patent number: 6276566
Abstract: The three-dimensional design of a container is enhanced by the suspension of a three-dimensional design within the container. This is accomplished by a depending member which is a part of a container closure or which is supported by the upper edge of a container and held in place by a closure. This depending member has a three-dimensional design attached thereto or as an integral part thereof. The depending member can be cylindrical of different shapes or can be discontinuous such as having a longitudinal gap extending partially or fully the length of the depending member. When the closure to the container is a pump dispenser the dip tube of the pump dispenser can pass through and be partially or fully surrounded by the depending member, or optionally the dip tube can be the depending member with the three-dimensional design attached thereto or an integral part thereof.

  • Patent number: 6253938
Abstract: The present closure is one that is actuated and opened indirectly. A force on a push pad causes the lid to open. There is no direct manual force applied to the lid to open the lid. The closure is comprised of a base section and a lid section. These are separate molded sections. These separate molded sections are attached after molding. The base section has the attachment to a container, structural integrity, a spout, and a lid actuator mechanism. The lid actuator mechanism is comprised of a strap with a push pad with an actuator rod at the end adjacent an actuator wall. The lid section has a spout closing section for the spout of the base section and an attachment fitting for attachment to the base section. The spout closing section is attached to the attachment fitting by living hinges, and preferably, preloaded living hinges. Such living hinges reduce the force to actuate. The closure is opened by pushing on a push pad which in turn causes the living hinges to be actuated and the lid snap opened.
