Patent number: 7878373Abstract: Dispensing cap for bottles, including a lower mounting part fixed onto a neck of bottle, an upper covering part containing the dispensing parts, such as valve and opening members, sealing elements between the cap and the bottle for gas-proof sealing, an outlet for pouring liquid, a tube support for holding the tube of siphon structure. The dispensing cap is characterized by containing an irreversibly removable fixing member (27). The fixing member is used to prevent push-down of the valve while the cap is intact. It thus prevents dispensing liquid from the bottle. After it is torn off from the upper covering part, however, to permit the dispensing of liquid from the bottle, the fixing member can be readily removed from the cap without opening the cap.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2004Date of Patent: February 1, 2011Assignee: Mayex USA KFT.Inventor: István Lindmayer

Patent number: 7749187Abstract: A needleless injection device with a lower part receiving the agent cartridge and an upper part providing the energy needed for injection. The upper part contains energy store units capable of elastic form-change. Rotating the lower part in relation to the upper part causes the lower part to move along the longitudinal axis toward the upper part, resulting in the tension state of the energy storage structural elements. Furthermore, the device has a lock maintaining the tension of the energy storage units and component to release the lock. Among the energy storage structural parts there is at least one start unit capable of storing at least 60% of the total discharge energy (pressure), with the reversible elastic distortion not exceeding 25% of the internal length of the agent cartridge. The device has separate structural components for stretching the start unit and limiting its relaxation.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2004Date of Patent: July 6, 2010Inventor: István Lindmayer

Publication number: 20060270972Abstract: A needleless injection device (20) with a lower part (1) receiving the agent cartridge (8) and an upper part (2) providing the energy needed for injection; the upper part contains energy store units capable of elastic form-change, while the lower part is attached to the upper part revolving manner, as known in itself, in a way that rotating it in relation to the upper part, it does constrained movement in the direction of the device's longitudinal axis, approaching the upper part, and results the tension state of the energy storage structural elements; furthermore, the device has a lock (4) maintaining the tension of the energy storage units (3) and component to release the lock. Among the energy storage structural parts there is at least one start unit (31), capable of storing min. 60%, in this case 80-90% of the total discharge energy (pressure), with the reversible elastic distortion at max.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 11, 2004Publication date: November 30, 2006Inventor: Istvan Lindmayer

Patent number: 5190523Abstract: In general, syringes for needleless injectors must be resonably accurately dimensioned, and the barrel of the injector must be formed of metal in order to prevent expansion of the syringe under pressure. A simple alternative is a syringe including an elongated tubular body with one open end and a closed end containing an injection orifice, and a plug slidable in the body with a prong at one end of the plug extending towards the orifice end of the body, the prong carrying an O-ring and an annular seal which prevents squeezing of the O-ring between the body of the syringe and the plug under injection pressures. An alternative form of syringe includes a pair of valves, one of which normally closes the injection orifice, and the other of which is mounted on the plug.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 1991Date of Patent: March 2, 1993Assignee: Idee International R & D Inc.Inventor: Istvan Lindmayer

Patent number: 4883483Abstract: A disposable plastic adaptor connects a medicine vial to a needleless injector. It includes a hollow, generally cylindrical body member having a top end and a bottom end, with a wall dividing said hollow body into a generally cylindrical top end cavity and bottom end cavity. The bottom end cavity is adapted to slide over the top end of a medicine vial and the cavity wall includes a plurality of detents which prevent removal of the adaptor from the vial. The top end cavity is adapted to be twist connected to the end of a needleless injector. A fluid connector member is mounted within the body member and it comprises a sharp tipped probe extending axially downwardly within the bottom end cavity and an axial projection with a concave end face extending axially upwardly within the top end cavity. An axial bore extends through the fluid connector member to flow connect the concave end face and the probe tip.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 1988Date of Patent: November 28, 1989Assignee: Advanced Medical Technologies Inc.Inventor: Istvan Lindmayer

Patent number: 4623332Abstract: A needleless hypodermic injector includes an elongated cylindrical casing defined by front and rear telescoping sections, with an injection orifice at the closed front end of the front section and a push button trigger at the rear end of the rear section. A piston slidably mounted in a cylinder in the front section of the casing moves rearwardly to define a medicine chamber for receiving medicine from a bottle directly or through a valve incorporated in the front end of the front casing section. The piston is moved rearwardly by an internally threaded collar on the externally threaded cylinder, the collar pressing against a bushing, which presses against disc springs in the rear section of the casing. A latch mechanism retains the bushing against the springs until the trigger is pressed, at which time the springs drive the piston forward to discharge the medicine from the chamber through the injection orifice.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 1983Date of Patent: November 18, 1986Assignee: Patents Unlimited Ltd.Inventors: Istvan Lindmayer, Karim Menassa

Patent number: 4518385Abstract: A disposable syringe for use in a needleless hypodermic injector includes a transparent, plastic barrel with an injection orifice in a closed front end thereof and an open rear end for receiving a plunger. The barrel is filled with medicine using a needle, which may be integral with the barrel, by partially withdrawing the plunger from the barrel to suck medicine through the injection orifice. The barrel and plunger are placed in an injector and the injector is actuated to push the plunger into the barrel, discharging the medicine. Alternatively, the syringe is filled with medicine while in an injector of the type which includes a removable injection head and a removable charging or filling head.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 1983Date of Patent: May 21, 1985Assignee: Preci-Tech Ltd.Inventors: Istvan Lindmayer, Raymond M.
