  • Publication number: 20220375108
Abstract: A method includes calculating a first medial-axis tree graph of a volume of an organ of a patient in a first computerized anatomical map of the volume, acquired at a first time. A second medial-axis tree graph is calculated, of a volume of the organ of the patient in a second computerized anatomical map of the volume, acquired at a second time that is different from the first time. A deviation is detected and estimated, between the first and second tree-graphs. Using the estimated deviation, the first and second medial-axis tree graphs are registered with one another. Using the registered first and second tree graphs, the first and second computerized anatomical maps are combined.

  • Publication number: 20220079499
Abstract: A method is described herein. The method is implemented by an optimization engine executed by a processor. The optimization engine receives data that includes performance metrics of mapping and ablation procedures. In turn, the optimization generates procedure expected outcomes for the mapping and ablation procedures based on the data and success predictions for a current ablation procedure utilizing the procedure expected outcomes. The optimization engine, also, outputs an ablation recommendation based on the success predictions.

  • Patent number: 11147497
Abstract: A method, including receiving sets of signals during multiple cardiac cycles, each set indicating, for a probe inserted into a cardiac chamber, a 3D location of a distal end of the probe, electrical potentials measured at the location, and respective times during a given cycle when the potentials were measured. The received measurements and the respective times are compared to a first template for a sinus rhythm cycle and a second template for a non-sinus rhythm cycle so as to identify a sequence of cycles including consecutive first, second, and third cycles wherein the first and second cycles match the first template and the third cycle matches the second template. A physical map is generated based on the locations. Based on the received locations and corresponding potentials, an electroanatomic map including the local activation times for the non-sinus rhythm cycle overlaid on the physical map is rendered to a display.

  • Publication number: 20180235509
Abstract: A system and method for identifying a catheter inserted in a patient's body is provided. The system may comprise a catheter comprising a handle, a console comprising an input device, a display screen configured to depict an image of the catheter inside the patient's body, and a processor configured to receive a color parameter from the input device. The system may be configured to receive a desired color parameter input from the input device for the catheter, depict the desired color on the image of the catheter on the display screen, and display the desired color on the corresponding catheter within the patient's body. This configuration allows for a more efficient catheter identification process during medical procedures, and prevents catheter identification confusion and thus harm to catheters or the patient for unnecessary movement of other catheters.
