    Abstract: A bar for motor vehicles includes a box-like container which is pivotally mounted on a horizontally disposed sliding mechanism beneath the dashboard. The container is slidable from a storage position beneath the dashboard where it is horizontally disposed and is then pivotable to a vertical position at least partially in front of the dashboard for access to the contents of the container.
