Abstract: A device is provided for holding dispensing and conveying substances such as dry foods such as, for example, flour, breakfast cereal or granola. The device may include a stand holding a possibly hermetically sealed container which may include a conveyor, having a flexible paddle belt mounted on at least two axles and possibly at least one connector. The conveyor is connected to a handle which when rotated may cause the conveyor to rotate and dispense the dry substances such as food from the container into, for example, an outside bowl.

Abstract: A funnel system and method for introducing and dispensing a material are presented. In this funnel system two frusto-conical devices having intake ports which have a larger diameter than the diameter of their exit ports may be mated. When mated, a passage exists through the devices' exit ports. Both frusto-conical devices may have partially eclipsed exit ports such that when one device rotates with respect to the other, the passage throttles between a substantially open and a substantially closed position. In this method the devices may be rotated such that the passage may be in the substantially closed position and a material may then be introduced into the second device's intake port. To dispense the material, the devices may be rotated such that the passage may be in a substantially open position whereupon the material may be dispensed from the first device's exit port.

Abstract: A funnel for introducing and dispensing a material may include a first hollow frusto-conical structure including an intake port and a first exit port, where the diameter of said first exit port is smaller than the diameter of the intake port. The funnel may include a second hollow structure including a sealing element for sealing the first exit port. The second structure may mate with the first structure for forming a passage from the first structure through the second structure. Rotating the second structure with respect to the first structure may bridge a gap between the sealing element and the first exit port for sealing the passage. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: A device for dispensing a pliant material, such as butter, includes an outer section which may be held by a user and a removable inner section which may hold the material. The inner section may have a first open end and a second closed end having a dispensing opening such as a slit. A plunger may be fitted within the device to force material out of the device.

Abstract: A method of attaching articles of clothing to one another wherein each article has a cut/hole located near the open end of the article, the method comprising a first step of inserting (slipping in) a first side of the first article through the cut/hole of the second article. Subsequent steps include pulling out the first side of the first article through the second side of the second article and pulling out the second side of the second article through the first side of the first article. The articles of clothing may be matched pair of socks.
