  • Publication number: 20180260040
Abstract: A system for a tracker for cursor navigation is described herein. The system includes a display, camera, memory, and processor. The memory that is to store instructions and is communicatively coupled to the camera and the display. The processor is communicatively coupled to the camera, the display, and the memory. When the processor is to execute the instructions, the processor is to extract an object mask of an object and execute an optical flow on good feature points from the object mask. The processor is also to estimate a movement of the object and render a cursor on the display based on the movement of the object.

  • Publication number: 20170177087
Abstract: Hand skeletons are compared to a hand image and selected. The hand skeletons are used for hand and gesture recognition with a computing interface. In one example, the method includes projecting points of a generated hand skeleton onto a received hand image, classifying the skeleton points as inside or outside the hand image, quantifying the comparison to generate a comparison quantity using a comparison function distance measurement, the comparison function distance measurement comprising an outside skeleton distance that includes a sum of distances from each outside skeleton point to a nearest inside skeleton point, applying the comparison function quantity to select the generated hand skeleton as a best match, and applying the selected hand skeleton to generate a command to a computer system command interface.

  • Patent number: 9330470
Abstract: A method for modeling and tracking a subject using image depth data includes locating the subject's trunk in the image depth data and creating a three-dimensional (3D) model of the subject's trunk. Further, the method includes locating the subject's head in the image depth data and creating a 3D model of the subject's head. The 3D models of the subject's head and trunk can be exploited by removing pixels from the image depth data corresponding to the trunk and the head of the subject, and the remaining image depth data can then be used to locate and track an extremity of the subject.

  • Patent number: 5183950
Abstract: Methods and materials for inducing anhydrobiosis in entomogenous nematode infective juveniles and then maintaining and storing them in an apparently anhydrobiotic state are described. Infective juveniles are induced into an anhydrobiotic state at relatively high relative humidity prior to optional lowering of the ambient relative humidity for storage and shipment. Suitable containers are also disclosed.
