  • Publication number: 20130027459
Abstract: A printing apparatus includes a printing unit, a heater, and a control unit. The printing unit prints an image on a sheet without an ink receiving layer by repeating scanning of a print head. The heater heats an area on the sheet to which ink is applied by the print head. The control unit controls output and drive timing of the heater based on a parameter for each scanning of the print head.

  • Publication number: 20120050438
Abstract: A sheet conveying device having a rolled-sheet supporting unit, a conveying unit, a driving unit, a tension applying unit, and a control unit. The rolled-sheet supporting unit supports a continuous sheet rolled up into a roll. The conveying unit conveys the continuous sheet from the rolled-sheet supporting unit as driven by the driving unit. The tension applying unit applies tension to the continuous sheet downstream of the conveying unit in a conveying direction. The control unit controls a driving amount of the driving unit per unit conveyance distance as the conveying unit conveys the continuous sheet. The driving amount is larger in a case where a first tension is applied by the tension applying unit compared to a case in which a second tension, that is larger than the first tension, is applied.

  • Publication number: 20110292118
Abstract: An inkjet recording apparatus includes a carriage configured to hold a recording head having a plurality of discharge ports from each of which ink is discharged, and to move in a first direction, and a platen configured to support a sheet moving downstream in a second direction intersecting with the first direction. The platen has a receiver configured to receive ink discharged towards an outside of the sheet, and a hole provided in an inside of the receiver to suction air therefrom. The hole is provided at a position at which an airflow is generated in a vicinity of a sheet edge so that each record band formed on a sheet with ink discharged from the plurality of discharge ports by movement of the carriage is expanded to at least one of an upstream side and a downstream side in the second direction.

  • Patent number: 5685617
Abstract: There is disclosed a unit integrated system wherein a hydraulic unit (1) having an upper surface (3a) defining an oil inlet and an electronic control unit (2) for controlling the drive of the hydraulic unit (1) are integrated together in juxtaposition with each other in such a manner that an upper surface (2a) of the electronic control unit is located at a position equal to or lower than the upper surface (3a) of the hydraulic unit (1), whereby an operating space (35) of a piping tool is insured above the electronic control unit (2) in connecting a hydraulic pipe (34) to the oil inlet in the upper surface (3a) of the hydraulic unit (1), and the hydraulic pipe (34) is securely connected to the oil inlet of the hydraulic unit (1) by using the existing spanner-shaped piping tool without interference of the tool with an upper portion of the electronic control unit (2).

  • Patent number: 5533905
Abstract: A connector having terminal groups (222) intended to carry a large current from a source of electrical power to an actuator for a hydraulic unit. The connector also has another terminal group (223) for a smaller current which is electrically connected to components of an electronic control unit (2) for hydraulic unit (1). Connector housing (221) is provided with base plate (221a) which carries terminal groups (222 and 223) and tubular housing body (221b) encloses both terminal groups (222 and 223). The terminals of both groups are joined at their outer ends to a harness-side connector (219) and at their inner ends the terminal group (222) is joined by wiring (224) to a motor (205) and the terminal group (223) is joined to a printed board (209). The board (209) along with a junction block (210) are housed within a pair of case elements (213a and 213b).
