  • Publication number: 20090284804
Abstract: Provided are a displacement/distortion measuring method and a displacement/distortion measuring apparatus for easily and highly accurately measuring displacement or distortion of an object. An image of the surface of the measuring object is picked up by a line scanner apparatus adhered or brought close to the surface of the measuring object. The image is taken, displacement or distortion is measured by image analysis of the image of the measuring object surface prior to time lapse and that after time lapse, and displacement or distortion measuring results are outputted.

  • Publication number: 20090287171
Abstract: An absorbent article in which a plurality of absorbent components is layered, and the absorbent component on top is peeled off after use. The article is configured to inhibit twisting or wrinkling during use. In the absorbent article, the upper absorbent component is layered on the skin-facing surface of the bottom absorbent component and peelably bonded by the temporal adhesive member. The bottom absorbent component has higher flexural rigidity than the upper absorbent component, and the compression recovery rate of the bottom absorbent component is also set so as to be higher than that of the upper absorbent component. It is thereby possible to prevent the bottom absorbent component from twisting and wrinkling when the upper absorbent component is placed against the discharge area, and after the upper absorbent component is peeled off, the volume of the bottom absorbent component is restored, and comfort during contact thereof with the discharge area is improved.

  • Publication number: 20090288108
Abstract: An optical disk device of the present invention includes a spindle motor, an optical pick-up, and a rotation control portion. The spindle motor is a rotational drive portion that rotates an optical disk, on an information recording surface of which a plurality of addresses are recorded. The optical pick-up records an information signal onto and plays back the information signal from the information recording surface of the optical disk that is rotated by the spindle motor. The rotation control portion controls the rotation of the optical disk by the spindle motor. In this case, the rotation control portion performs control based on a first reference signal that can be read off the optical disk, such that the optical disk is rotated at a speed that is based on a specified clock count.

  • Publication number: 20090287897
Abstract: The control device has a fetching unit, a virtual drive creation unit, and an access control unit. The fetching unit fetches, from the external storage device, attribute information relating to data stored in the external storage device. The virtual drive creation unit creates, in the control device, a virtual drive for storing the fetched attribute information. The access control unit controls access to the virtual drive and the external storage device. When an instruction relating to the attribute information is input, the access control unit accesses the virtual drive to fetch the attribute information. When an instruction to read the data from the external storage device is input, the access control unit accesses the external storage device to reads the data. When an instruction to write new data to the external storage device is input, the access control unit accesses the external storage device to write the new data.

  • Publication number: 20090284311
Abstract: Operations as a variable resistor are favorably realized even when a drain-source voltage of a variable MOS resistor and that of a reference MOS resistor are not the same. A gate voltage Vp12 of the variable MOS resistor is controlled with reference to a gate voltage Vp11 which is controlled such that a voltage generated in the reference MOS resistor is controlled to be the same as a reference voltage. A resistor is connected in parallel with the reference MOS resistor between the drain and source thereof, the resistor including resistor bodies R11 and R12 having the same resistance connected in series. Half of a drain-source voltage Vds of the reference MOS resistor is detected at an intermediate point of the resistor having resistor bodies connected in series. The gate voltage Vp12 of the variable resistor is obtained by subtracting Vds/2 from the gate voltage Vp11 of the reference MOS resistor.

  • Publication number: 20090285708
Abstract: A scroll type compressor has a fixed scroll member, a movable scroll member, an oil reservoir, a back-pressure chamber, an oil extraction passage, a flow passage, and a partition wall. The back-pressure chamber disposed behind the movable scroll member is in communication with a discharge chamber. The oil extraction passage having a regulating valve or a throttle connects the back-pressure chamber to the oil reservoir. The oil return passage and the flow passage connect the oil reservoir to a suction chamber, respectively. The flow passage introduces excess lubricating oil into the suction chamber when the level of lubricating oil in the oil reservoir becomes higher than a predetermined level. The partition wall disposed between the openings of the oil extraction passage for restricting lubricating oil from the oil extraction passage other than the excess lubricating oil collected in the oil reservoir from flowing to the flow passage.

  • Patent number: 7619219
Abstract: The present invention was made in view of a problem of an electron microscope in which a reduction in detection efficiency of electrons detected by a detector should be prevented by eliminating any influence of a leakage magnetic field through a gap in an objective lens onto the electrons emitted from a specimen. To solve the problem, the present invention provides an electron microscope having a configuration with: a pole piece electrode for accelerating primary electrons emitted at an electrons source; and an objective lens including the pole piece electrode. In the objective lens, an electrically and magnetically insulated gap is formed between the pole piece electrode and other pole piece, and an auxiliary coil is concentrically disposed with the objective lens at a middle position between the gap and a detection surface of the electron detector, with an electric current flowing through the auxiliary coil in the opposite direction from that of an electric current flowing through the objective lens coil.

  • Patent number: 7619654
Abstract: A taking lens consists of first to third lens groups. The second lens group is held in a lens frame that is coupled through an arm to a supporting shaft, and is able to rotate about the supporting shaft, to move the second lens group in a circular direction in a plane perpendicular to an optical axis of the taking lens. As a movable lens barrel retreats into a camera body, the lens frame rotates to remove the second lens group from an inserted position inserted in an optical path of the taking lens to a removed position set out of the optical path. The arm is provided with an actuator that causes the lens frame to move in a lengthwise direction of the arm. Because the movement in the circular direction includes a component that is perpendicular to the lengthwise movement of the arm, it is possible to move the lens frame and thus the second lens group in any directions in the perpendicular plane to the optical axis, in order to cancel a deviation of an optical image that result from a camera shake.
