  • Publication number: 20150063235
Abstract: A UE 100 is connectable to an IP-CAN conforming to Internet protocol via any one of LTE supporting a service conforming to an IP multimedia subsystem and 3G not supporting the service conforming to the IP multimedia subsystem. In a case where the UE 100 receives a connection rejection notification from a SGSN capable of communicating with the IP multimedia subsystem after transitioning from LTE to 3G, the UE 100 suspends transmission of a request for reconnection to the IP access network only if the mobile station is camping in 3G through which the connection rejection notification has been received. Here, the connection rejection notification indicates that the UE 100 is not connectable to the IP multimedia subsystem.

  • Publication number: 20150023276
Abstract: Provided are a communication system, a mobile station and a communication method that can suppress the increase of processing loads of an IP-CAN accompanying trials made by mobile stations to connect to the IP-CAN via a wireless access network that does not support any services on the IP multimedia core network subsystem (IMS). For example, a UE (100) receives, from an SGSN via the 3G, service non-supporting information indicating that the 3G does not support any services on the IP multimedia subsystem, and, when having received the service non-supporting information, stops the transmission of an Activate PDP Context Request via the 3G.

  • Publication number: 20150016380
Abstract: A mobile station and a communication method are provided, which are capable of preventing a state where no incoming calls can be received from continuing for a long time even if an IP-CAN Bearer, which is a logical communication path used for SIP and audio media, is removed for some reason. UE 100 is connectable to an access network complying with the Internet protocol and executes registration with an IP multimedia subsystem complying with the Internet protocol. The UE 100 includes: a bearer establishment unit 110 configured to establish an IP-CAN Bearer that is a logical communication path between the UE 100 and a PGW constituting the access network; and a registration processing unit 120 configured to execute registration of the mobile station with the IP multimedia subsystem when the bearer establishment unit 110 establishes the IP-CAN Bearer.

  • Patent number: 8867489
Abstract: The present invention is designed such that a new SGSN receives a location update message from a terminal (1) having moved from the management area of an old SGSN to the management area of the new SGSN, and the new SGSN having received the location update message sends a GTPv2 signal for getting communication path information corresponding to GTPv2, to the old SGSN. The old SGSN, upon receiving the GTPv2 signal, if holding communication path information of to GTPv1 as a logical communication path established for the terminal (1), sends, as a response, a GTPv2 signal in which the communication path information by GTPv1 is set in an additional parameter 24, to the new SGSN.
