Abstract: The carbon dioxide recovery system (1) comprises an electrolytic reduction device (2) that generates a producer gas by reducing carbon dioxide, and a carbon dioxide separation device (3) that separates the carbon dioxide from the processed gas. The carbon dioxide separation device is provided with a first gas diffusion electrode (51), a second gas diffusion electrode (52), a liquid chamber (53) formed between the first gas diffusion electrode and the second gas diffusion electrode (52), and is configured to be supplied with an electrolytic liquid containing a compound that adsorbs and desorbs protons in an oxidation-reduction reaction, a first chamber (54) separated from the liquid chamber by the first gas diffusion electrode and configured to be supplied with the producer gas, and a second chamber (55) separated from the liquid chamber by the second gas diffusion electrode and through which the carbon dioxide separated from the producer gas flow.
