Publication number: 20240184423Abstract: A computer-implemented method for dynamic, data-driven consolidation of user interface interactions requesting roadside assistance. The method includes identifying a data objective requiring user data, accessing user data, and determining whether the user data satisfies a confidence threshold. Based at least in part on the confidence threshold determination, one of a first data objective representation and a second data objective representation is displayed. A request for roadside assistance—following satisfaction of the confidence threshold—is also issued.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 31, 2023Publication date: June 6, 2024Inventors: IVAN D. Patent number: 7782253Abstract: A navigation system and method is provided for use by a snorkeler. A navigational antenna (31) is fixedly coupled to the snorkeler in a manner that positions the antenna above the waterline when his head is face down at the waterline. The antenna communicates with a display (41) to provide the snorkeler with navigational information. A GPS signal receiving antenna is employed in the illustrative embodiment and is attached to the breathing tube (23) of the diver's snorkel (20). The navigational signals received by the antenna are conveyed to a handheld GPS receiver (40) via a GPS re-transmitting antenna. An externally operable pushbutton (56) allows the snorkeler to switch between multiple screens to guide him through the snorkeling site and provide him with information relative to his immediate location.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2007Date of Patent: August 24, 2010Inventor: Richard Ivan Brown

Patent number: 7310063Abstract: A navigation system is provided for use by a snorkeler. A GPS signal receiving antenna (31) is coupled to the snorkeler in a substantially fixed spatial relationship and communicates with a display (41) to provide the snorkeler with navigational information. In the illustrative embodiment, the GPS signal receiving antenna (31) is attached to the breathing tube (23) of the diver's snorkel (20) and communicates with the display (41) of a handheld GPS receiver (40) housed in a waterproof case (50). The GPS signals received by the GPS signal receiving antenna (31) are conveyed to the handheld GPS receiver (40) via a GPS re-transmitting antenna (35) housed in the same waterproof case (50). An externally operable pushbutton (56) allows the snorkeler to switch between multiple screens presented on the display (41) to guide him through the snorkeling site.Type: GrantFiled: May 13, 2006Date of Patent: December 18, 2007Inventor: Richard Ivan Brown

Publication number: 20070161939Abstract: A moldable body patch to provide moisture protection for wound sites. It uses a non-linear shaped preferably medical grade flexible film piece having upper, preferably middle and lower portions and a pull tab permanently adhered to the upper portion of the film piece. A backing paper is removably adhered to the middle portion and to the lower portion which may be removed to reveal an adhesive that will provide skin adherence in a sealable relationship to prevent underlying wounds from moisture contact. When finished, the film piece may be conveniently removed by pulling on the pull tab permanently adhered to the upper portion of the film piece.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 6, 2007Publication date: July 12, 2007Applicant: BROWN MEDICAL INDUSTRIESInventors: IVAN BROWN, AMY WHEATON, TERRY KOUNKEL, MATT HENRY, BECKI HUISENGA
