Abstract: A system and method are provided for extracting information regarding a drill site including forming one or more documents having one or more raw comments regarding a well site. Raw data may be extracted from the one or more documents to produce extracted raw data. The extracted raw date may be pre-processed by removing ambiguity, artifacts, and/or formatting errors from the one or more raw comments to produce pre-processed data. Topics data may be extracted from the pre-processed data using a natural language processing (NLP) algorithm to produce extracted topics data. Measurement data may also be extracted from the pre-processed data using the NLP algorithm to produce extracted measurement data. The extracted topics data and the extracted measurement data may be aggregated to form a set of discrete data points, such as calibration points, per comment to produce aggregated data and one more calibration points may be identified from the aggregated data.

  • Patent number: 10611684
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for enhancing the performance of concrete includes, providing a cementitious mixture comprising cement and processed high calcium fly ash; wherein a processing of the processed high calcium fly ash neutralizes a cementitious reactivity of a high calcium fly ash, wherein a pozzolanic reactivity of the processed high calcium fly ash is maintained during the processing of the high calcium fly ash. The processing of the high calcium fly ash includes hydrating and carbonating the high calcium fly ash. The processing further includes excavating the high calcium fly ash from a landfill or surface impoundment after the hydrating and carbonating. Also disclosed is a portland-pozzolan blended cement mixture with clinker, gypsum, and a pozzolanic material, such as processed high calcium fly ash. After processing, the cementitious reactivity of a high calcium fly ash is neutralized, while pozzolanic reactivity of the high calcium fly ash is maintained.

  • Patent number: 9394200
Abstract: Pozzolanic cement compositions and method manufacturing the same are described. These cement compositions may include a pozzolanic material and an activator based on a salt of glycolic acid, glyceric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, malonic acid, glutaric acid, maleic acid, formic acid, acetic acid, propionic acid, or butyric acid, a retarder based on hepto-gluconates, sulfate salts, sugars, sugar acids, lignins, and/or an accelerator based on amines. The cement compositions may have less than 10% by weight Portland cement. The pozzolanic cement compositions including these activators, accelerators, and retarders can have improved properties such as longer setting time, better slump retention, and improved strength.

  • Patent number: 9290416
Abstract: A geopolymer concrete prepared by predicting a mechanical property of a geopolymer concrete formed with each of a plurality of fly ash materials, selecting as a source material for the geopolymer concrete one of the fly ash materials that yields a predicted value of the mechanical property that is equal to or greater than a target value for the mechanical property, and mixing the fly ash source material with an alkaline activator solution, a fine aggregate, and a coarse aggregate. The prediction of the mechanical property includes measuring one or more properties of each of the plurality of fly ash materials, calculating predicted values of the mechanical property for geopolymer concretes formed with each of the plurality of fly ash materials using a predetermined equation relating the one or more properties of the plurality of fly ash materials to predicted values of the mechanical property of the geopolymer concrete.

  • Patent number: 8642885
Abstract: Electrical enclosure assemblies, electrical service enclosures, and methods of assembling an electrical enclosure assembly are presented herein. An electrical enclosure assembly for housing electrical components of an electrical distribution system is disclosed. The enclosure assembly includes a plurality of sidewalls interconnected to define therebetween a mounting space within which are mounted the electrical components, and define at one end thereof an open endface. An endwall guide extends from one or more of the sidewalls into the mounting space. The endwall guide includes a plurality of elongated slots, a plurality of projections, or both. The enclosure assembly also includes an endwall configured to at least partially close off the open endface. The endwall includes a plurality of elongated slots, a plurality of projections, or both. Each of the projections is configured to fit into and secure with a respective elongated slot to thereby removably mount the endwall to the sidewalls.

  • Publication number: 20070021845
Abstract: A system for preventative maintenance of a ride or an attraction component at a venue. A validator establishes the identity of the ride or attraction component and a controller monitors the use of the ride or attraction component. The controller also manage the ride or attraction component's availability for patron usage and transmits this information to a system control panel. A blocking device controlled by the panel prevents patron usage of a ride or attraction component that is in non-compliance with pre-established operating standards.
