Abstract: Disclosed is a HCR (High Chemical Resistant) recyclable multilayer packaging material includes a plurality of polypropylene containing layers, wherein at least one of the polypropylene containing layers is bond to two neighbouring layers by different adhesives as well as to a packaging comprising such a recyclable multilayer packaging material. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing a recyclable multilayer packaging material and a flexible packaging from the recyclable multilayer packaging material.

Abstract: A composite packaging foil for a childproof and/or senior friendly packaging, including a first layer having a first outer surface and a first inner surface, wherein the first layer imparts tear-inhibiting properties to the packaging foil, a second layer having a second outer surface and a second inner surface, wherein the second outer surface of the second layer is sealable against a mating surface, an inner layer arranged between the first inner surface of the first layer and the second inner surface of the second layer. The packaging foil has at least one weakening zone in which the tear-inhibiting properties of the packaging foil are reduced by a plurality of perforations that are present in the first layer. The density of perforations in the weakening zone lies between 50 and 250, preferably between 50 and 150 and particularly preferred between 70 and 130 perforations per cm2.

Abstract: A floating terminal for loading/offloading cargo of ships such as methane tankers comprises an area for mooring ships and a submerged skirt to damp oscillation of the terminal to attenuate relative movement of the terminal and ships in the mooring area.

Abstract: Threshold Cerenkov Detector With Radial Segmentation permits correlation between number of photons produced in concentrically arranged radiator tubes and particle momentum that yields a 90% confidence level for e, ?, ?, and p identification up to 4-5 GeV/c or four to five times greater than the momentum limit for particle identification in Threshold Cerenkov Detectors, wherein detector has three concentric cylinders with a total of 25 radiator tubes, each cylinder of tubes has different medium; and four scintillators are employed which trigger cosmic particles within a window of 5ns. Radiator designs produce more photons as particles enter improved TCDRS design and fewer photons as they leave. Correlation between the number of photons produced in the tubes and the particle momentum yields about a 90% confidence level for e, ?, ?, and p identification up to 4-5 GeV/c times greater than the momentum limit for particle identification using existing Threshold Cerenkov Detectors.
