  • Patent number: 5318302
Abstract: A puzzle using two layers of sixteen small, thin, disc type magnets in an upper and lower matrix of 4.times.4 each, whereby the top layer of revolving magnets are colored in two colors at the north and south pole of the magnets, and are horizontally confined to their place, but can turn around showing either one of the colors while the lower layer is confined vertically and whereby each of the magnets can change its position within the lower matrix by a mechanism of sliding bars in x and y direction, thereby maintaining its original north-south direction. This mechanism enables each of the confined individual magnets in the lower layer (matrix) to move around whereby always four magnets in a row are moved one position in the matrix either in x or y direction.

  • Patent number: 4898560
Abstract: An amusement device having a plurality of mirror blocks of the same size and configuration, each of the blocks having a mirror face adapted to face upwardly when the blocks are supported on a flat horizontal supporting surface, and a plurality of pattern-bearing elements each bearing a partial section of an overall pattern and selectively positionable with respect to the mirror faces of the blocks to reconstruct the overall pattern by reflections from the mirror faces of the mirror blocks.

  • Patent number: 4509756
Abstract: A game puzzle comprises a holder and a plurality of manipulatable elements movable within the holder along a plurality of closed-loop paths, which paths intersect each other at a plurality of intersection points. The manipulatable elements fill the closed-loop paths and are constrained by the holder to move only along one path except at the intersection points, whereat the elements may be transferred from one path to the other. In one described embodiment, the manipulatable elements are buttons movable along two closed-loop paths; in a second described embodiment, they are balls rollable along two closed-loop paths; and in a third described embodiment, the elements are movable along three closed-loop paths.

  • Patent number: 4479654
Abstract: A game comprises a base member divided into a plurality of horizontally-extending vertically-aligned zones representing levels of a building structure open at their opposite ends, a plurality of playing pieces in the form of colored blocks adapted to be received in the levels, and a pair of conveyors or elevators at the opposite ends of the zones, each adapted to receive several of the colored blocks for shifting them from one level to another. The total number of colored blocks is less than the number adapted to be accommodated by all the levels, so that there are always some empty spaces in the levels for receiving colored blocks as they are shifted by the use of the conveyors, the object being to fill each level only with the blocks of a single color. Another embodiment is described wherein the playing pieces, instead of being colored blocks, are blocks bearing alphabetical characters, in which case the object is to shift the playing pieces among the levels so as to form words.

  • Patent number: 4397463
Abstract: A game to be played by two players is described, including a set of ten differently-colored balls for each player adapted to be placed in random at the upper ends of a set of inclined chutes for each player formed in a common base member. The base member is further formed with two inclined passageways, both traversed by a common gate member such that the higher-elevational end of each passageway is on one side of the gate and is adjacent to the lower ends of its set of chutes, whereas the lower-elevational end of each passageway is at the opposite side of the gate. The game further includes a set of display cards, each marked with a different sequence of the colored balls. Each round of the game is played by turning-up one of the display cards, whereupon each player flips his balls so as to roll them down the chutes and to enter the respective passageway in the same sequence as in the card displayed.

  • Patent number: 4385763
Abstract: A game comprises a closed container having a transparent top wall and a bottom wall formed with a number of holes therethrough, there being a plurality of differently-colored balls disposed within the container and manipulatable by the player's finger tips to seat in different holes in the container bottom wall and thereby to form different patterns of balls viewable through the transparent top wall of the container.
