  • Patent number: 9992391
Abstract: An image sensor can be present within an optical capture device. Two lenses that capture and direct light from a real world environment upon the image sensor. The image sensor converts light from the real world environment into electronic signals. A separator can be positioned between optical pathways of light from the lenses. The separators can absorb light from a region surrounding the image circle to prevent optical distortions from the image circles which are in close proximity to each other.

  • Patent number: 9854164
Abstract: An image capture device includes two fixed position ultra-wide angle lenses, one or more components to optically direct light, and a single image sensor. The two fixed position ultra-wide angle lenses face substantially opposing directions. A field of view of each of the lenses is greater than one hundred and eighty degrees. Facing the lenses in substantially opposing directions results in an overlapping region of image capture of substantially a three hundred and sixty degree horizontal field of view and a two hundred and seventy degree (or more) vertical field of view. The one or more components optically direct light so that optically directed light from both of the two fixed position ultra-wide angle lenses strikes a single surface of a single image sensor. The single image sensor converts an optical signal into an electronic signal.

  • Patent number: 9497367
Abstract: A rectangular image sensor can be present within an optical capture device. Two lenses can capture and direct light from the real world environment upon the image sensor. The light from each of the two lenses can be concurrently directed to the same rectangular image sensor. Each of the two lenses can produce a corresponding image circle simultaneously on the rectangular image sensor. An area of the image circles from the two lenses can be non-overlapping. The image sensor can be a device which converts light within the real world environment into electronic signals.

  • Patent number: 9448389
Abstract: A camera can include a housing, two lenses, a prism-shaped reflector, a reflector support surface, and an optical sensor. The two lenses are coupled to the housing in substantially opposing directions. The prism-shaped reflector has two parallel surfaces and three additional surfaces comprising: a first and a second reflective surfaces and a support plane. The reflector support surface is bonded to the prism-shaped reflector at the support plane. The optical sensor includes a surface upon which two non-overlapping image circles are concurrently projected; one from each of the two lenses. Each image circle results from a light path from a respective one of the two lenses being reflected off one of the first and second reflective surfaces onto the surface of the optical sensor.

Abstract: A rectangular image sensor can be present within an optical capture device. Two lenses can capture and direct light from a real world environment upon the image sensor. Two reflectors can each be positioned between one of the two lenses and the sensor to direct light captured by each lens to produce a corresponding image circle on the sensor. The circles can be produced by the two lenses onto the sensor can be non-overlapping in area. A non-reflective separator can be positioned between the optical pathways of light from the two lenses from the time such light is reflected from the two reflectors respectively. The separator can absorb light from a region surrounding the image circle to prevent optical distortions from the image circles which are in close proximity to each other.

  • Publication number: 20140015832
Abstract: A system and method of the present invention is a video reconstruction provided to reconstruct animated three dimensional scenes from number of videos received from cameras which observe the scene from different positions and different angles. Multiple video footages of objects are taken from different positions. Then the video footages are filtered to avoid noise (results of light reflection and shadows. The system then restores 3D model of the object and the texture of the object. The system also restores positions of dynamic cameras. Finally, the system maps texture to 3D model.

  • Patent number: 8577876
Abstract: A system and method of the present invention present a web based music station. The system includes a website having at least two engine components such as a table of a playlist and a table of a content references. A system includes a controller with an algorithm incorporated therein. The algorithm is configured to retrieve various images and music pre-stored in the controller and presents these images and the music to the users. The system tries to reconstruct the “logical priority chains” of user perception as it relates to both the music and the images. The system then clusterizes picks of the music and the images and the users. The system then binds both music and images together using non-linear mapping to determine preference of each user.

  • Publication number: 20100306157
Abstract: The method and computer implemented system for social decision making is disclosed. The method commences with a decision maker working interactively with a computer system via the Internet. Decision maker identifies a topic for discussion and the initial pros and cons factors pertinent to a topic; each pro and con factor is attributed by a set of values and criteria. Decision maker then uses a set of social collaboration tools to gather opinions of the others. The others agree or disagree with a set of values and criteria attributed to initial cons and pros. The others can also submit their opinions in a form of the pros and cons pertinent to a topic each attributed by a set of values and criteria. The data is being stored in a machine readable format on a facilitator's server. A computing algorithm then calculates the sets of values, prioritizes criteria, and analyzes the data.

  • Publication number: 20090248642
Abstract: A system includes server and client computers communicating over a network. The server includes a database of websites. A user logs into one of the client computers and is presented with a stand-alone application for organizing and accessing websites that is separate from a web-browser. The application presents the alphabet to the user and allows the user to select one or more letters of the alphabet. When a letter is selected, the application presents a list of websites to the user and allows the user to select a website. The web address of the selected website is then sent to the web-browser for display of the webpage. The application also presents advertisements to the user that are not blocked by ad blocking programs.
