Abstract: A process for producing a ferronickel product from a mixed nickel iron hydroxide product, said process including the steps of: providing a mixed nickel iron hydroxide product; pelletising the mixed nickel iron hydroxide product to produce nickel iron hydroxide pellets; calcining the nickel iron hydroxide pellets to produce mixed nickel iron oxide pellets; and reducing the nickel iron oxide pellets with one or more reducing gases at high temperatures to produce ferronickel pellets.

The bag includes at least one heating element that transmits sufficient heat to dry and heat articles, such as boots, shoes, clothing, equipment and the like, from the outside inward to completely dry the articles. Abstract: A carving ski pole for assisting a skier/snowboarder in balancing on and carving through snow. The carving ski pole comprises a first shaft member detachably coupled to a second shaft member. A first arcuate gliding member is coupled to the free end of the first shaft member and a second arcuate gliding member is coupled to the free end of the second shaft member. The first and second shaft members each also have extendible arms for lengthening the overall length of the carving ski pole.

Abstract: The present invention relates to ski having a tip portion, a tail portion and a waist portion between the tip portion and the tail portion. In accordance with the present invention, the ski has a wider tip and tail than do conventional skis. This widening of tip and tail are coupled with an exaggerated "side cut" or curvature of at least in the inside edge of the ski. A ski according the present invention has an exaggerated tip between 1.5 to 2.25 times the narrowest point of the waist and an exaggerated tail with a ratio of 1.05 to 2.14 times the narrowest point of the waist.

Abstract: A substrate for the cultivation of plants in greenhouses or outdoors comprises klinoptylolite zeolite, vermiculite and peat in specified particle size ranges and relationships, with enhanced nitrogen and phosphorus content, to provide a highly versatile and surprisingly effective active growing medium.
