    Abstract: A scented article manufactured from a sintered metal powder. The metal powder may be one or more metals, one or more alloys, or any combination or mixture thereof. The scented article is of a weight sufficient to sink to a depth in the water and shaped such that, when urged through the water, the lure moves in a substantially oscillating motion. The scented article is impregnated with a scent, such as a fish attractant, that is slowly diffused in the water as the scented article is urged through the water. A method of manufacturing a scented article is also disclosed.
