Abstract: A package for storing and heating a product includes a first sealable envelope having a region located inside the first sealable envelope, the region containing a first agent. The package further includes a sealed bag located inside the first sealable envelope and containing a second agent. The sealed bag is capable of being breached at a section allowing the second agent to react with the first agent generating heat within a heating region. The package further includes a second sealable envelope comprising a region for containing the product. A portion of the second sealable envelope is located within the heating region and the heat from the reaction heats the product located in the heating region. The first sealable envelope is compressible about the section of the sealed bag and contents of the first sealable envelope about the section of the sealed bag are flexible.

Abstract: A package is provided including a first sealable envelope containing a first agent, a second sealable envelope containing a second agent adjacent the first sealable envelope and a frangible seal separating the first sealable envelope from the second sealable envelope and a triggering mechanism located on an exterior of the package, the triggering mechanism having a first portion attached to the package at a first point adjacent the first sealable envelope and a second portion attached to the package at a second point adjacent the second sealable envelope such that, if the first portion and the second portion of the triggering mechanism are pulled, the frangible seal is stressed to rupture, allowing the first agent to communicate with the second agent.

Abstract: A self heating pre-moistened wipe(s) package (10) includes a pre-moistened wipe(s) to be heated. The pre-moistened wipe(s) can be of variable size, shape, thickness and material, impregnated with a cleaning solution depending on the application. Within said outer package (10) is a thermal insulated layer (11). Enclosed in said packaging is a solvent activated exothermic chemical pad, powder, liquid or gel, enclosed in an absorbent envelope (21), a bag containing solvent (20) and a pouch for a pre-moistened wipe(s) (13). Enclosed within said package is a trigger mechanism to initiate the reaction either through a pull-tab means or through a pressure/rupturing means. Said trigger mechanism is affixed to said solvent bag (20) so that when triggered, the solvent within can flow out to trigger the exothermic reaction.
