Abstract: A walking transport vehicle that is comprised of a platform with two closed guides mounted on its bottom surface, said guides having rectilinear sections and curved sections with a common center of curvature. Movably mounted in the guides are the upper ends of extensible and retractable legs. The transport vehicle also comprises of a leg drive mechanism to displace legs along the guide incorporating a continuous band conveyor with conveyor branches passing respectively along the sections of the guide, and a similar leg drive unit to displace legs along the guide.
