    Abstract: A composite panel includes a support layer and a facing layer. The support layer has an outer surface and cavities that open through the outer surface. The cavities enlarge inward from the outer surface to form overhanging edges. The facing layer is a cement mixture that flows around the overhanging edges to overlap the support layer so that the support layer and facing layer are mechanically interlocked.
