Abstract: A method and composition to help persons reduce or quit smoking is disclosed, employing raw tobacco leaves, or tobacco fluid extract, or food grade tobacco like flavor and aroma, and Antioxidants, with or without and SAMe and caffeine. All ingredients can be in a micro-powdered or liquid form, for buccal administration. The composition can be in a tablet or capsule that is intended to be slowly sucked and dissolved in the mouth, and that delivers the nicotine, caffeine or SAMe, proved to be effective in alleviating smoking withdrawal symptoms. The composition can also be embedded inside a soft squeezable plastic cigarette for simulated smoking, providing additional periodic doses of nicotine, caffeine and SAMe to satisfy cravings for cigarettes.

Abstract: This invention consists of an inhaler capable of administering powdered medicaments contained in a capsule through the respiratory tract. It's a pen-shaped device formed by a container that preserves the capsules, arranged in vertical parallel lines, and a block comprising two or more separated elements inside which one capsule is placed in order to be cut or perforated by a cutting element. The powder of the capsule is so released into a chamber with a grid lower surface that keeps the pieces of the case inside and lets only the powder pass through. Once the capsule is placed into its compartment in order to be cut, it will be sufficient to rotate an element on the other ones by means of a support. Then the user places the mouthpiece of the inhaler, separated by the container, into his/her mouth and breathes in, so that the powdered drug dispersed into the chamber can reach the lungs.

Abstract: A monodose disposable inhaling device is disclosed which is suitable for delivery, via the respiratory tract, therapeutic medication, which includes among its objects and advantages increased convenience in medication with dry medicaments in powder form, especially with respect to accuracy of dosage and accurate placement of the drug. In one embodiment the inhaler device generally consists of a body member having a delivery portion constructed integral with a housing portion, a button member, a spring member and a spring and capsule support member. Additionally, a screen member can be disposed within the body member at the intersection of the delivery portion and the housing portion.

Abstract: A dental treating composition and method are disclosed which reduces dental plaque and inhibits future formation of the same, when the dental treating composition is used on regular basis. Sodium alginate is used as a calcium ion chelating agent which weakens the bond between the plaque and the teeth thereby allowing easy removal by subsequent brushing. The use of benzalkonium chloride and zinc sulfate with the composition provides for desensitizing the teeth and elimination of halitosis.

Abstract: Apparatus for magnetically treating a fluid is disclosed. The magnetized fluid may comprise a hydrocarbon fuel or water. The apparatus is arranged to maximize the magnetic fields generated by magnets within the apparatus and to cause the fluid to flow therethrough in a manner to maximize the exposure of the fluid to the optimized magnetic fields.
