  • Patent number: 11407484
Abstract: A sub-structure for an aircraft cabin monument is disclosed. The sub-structure includes a plurality of mounting attachment points for supporting a mount to engage with a corresponding mounting attachment point on a lattice structure of a load carrying partition wall. The aircraft cabin monument is supported by the load carrying partition wall through the sub-structure, supporting a substantial weight of the monument, and relieving the cabin floor from supporting the load and weight of the aircraft cabin monument.

  • Patent number: 8882032
Abstract: A mounting system (10) for attaching a structural monument in a desired position in an aircraft cabin comprises a support element (12) that is connectable to a base body (14) of the structural monument in a pedestal area of the structural monument. The mounting system (10) further comprises a receiving device (50) that is attachable in an area of a floor of the aircraft cabin, and a first coupling element (38) attached to the support element (12), designed for connecting the supporting element (12) to the receiving device (50) that is attachable in an area of a floor of the aircraft cabin. Finally, the mounting system (10) comprises a retaining element (76) that is connectable to the base body (14) of the structural monument in a ceiling area of the structural monument, and a second coupling element (86) attached to the retaining element (76), designed for connecting the retaining element (76) to a structurally solid component of the aircraft.

  • Publication number: 20120217342
Abstract: A fastening arrangement for fastening a storage container in a compartment of an aircraft galley comprises a latching mechanism including a latch and a first biasing mechanism, the first biasing mechanism being adapted to bias the latch into a latched position in a first operational state of the latching mechanism, such that the latch is adapted to interact with the storage container upon insertion of the storage container into the compartment of the aircraft galley so as to be moved from its latched position into an unlatched position against the biasing force applied to the latch by the first biasing mechanism, and such that the latch is adapted to be moved back into its latched position by the biasing force applied to the latch by the first biasing mechanism when the storage container has reached a predefined position in the compartment of the aircraft galley.

  • Publication number: 20120085862
Abstract: An aircraft galley partition panel system has first and second partition panels. An assembly slot extends from an edge of the first panel and receives an assembly section of the second panel such that main surfaces of the first and second panels are substantially perpendicular. A first guide device carried by the assembly slot interacts with a complementary second guide device arranged in a region of the assembly section of the second panel. An assembly section of the first partition panel carries a third guide device which interacts with a complementary fourth guide device arranged in a region of a lateral surface of the second panel facing the assembly section of the first panel. Projections of the first and second connecting devices are received in complementary recesses in a base body of the aircraft galley to connect the first and second panels respectively to the base body.
