    Abstract: An image processing apparatus for printing includes an analysis unit, a correction unit, a print-data generating unit, and a storage unit. When first analysis data corresponding to target image data has been generated, the analysis unit does not perform analysis processing on the target image data. When first analysis data corresponding to the target image data has not been generated, the analysis unit performs analysis processing on the target image data and generates second analysis data. The correction unit corrects the target image data using the first or second analysis data corresponding to the target image data and generates corrected image data. The print-data generating unit generates print data using the corrected image data. The storage unit stores the second analysis data in association with the corresponding target image data.
