  • Patent number: 6660052
Abstract: A method for blowing synthetic resins as a fuel into a furnace comprising: processing synthetic resins consisting essentially of film shaped synthetic resins by melting or semi-melting the synthetic resins by heat to produce granular synthetic resins having a bulk density of at least 0.3 and angle of repose of up to 40 degrees; pneumatically feeding the granular synthetic resins from the processing; and blowing the pneumatically fed granular synthetic resins into a furnace.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 9, 2003
Date of Patent: December 9, 2003
    Assignee: NKK Corporation
Inventors: Hiromi Nakamura, Iwao Okochi, Mitsuhiro Fujii, Atsushi Yamaguchi, Minoru Asanuma
  • Patent number: 6540798
Abstract: A method for processing synthetic resins into a furnace fuel, comprising melting or semi-melting synthetic resins consisting essentially of film shaped synthetic resins to produce granular synthetic resins having a bulk density of at least 0.3 and an angle of repose of up to 40 degrees, wherein the angle of repose is a base angle when the granular synthetic resins are dropped on a horizontal plane surface.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 5, 2000
Date of Patent: April 1, 2003
    Assignee: NKK Corporation
Inventors: Minoru Asanuma, Hiromi Nakamura, Iwao Okochi, Mitsuhiro Fujii, Atsushi Yamaguchi
  • Publication number: 20020033124
Abstract: A method for blowing a synthetic resin material into a furnace comprises: classifying synthetic resins into film-shaped synthetic resins and non-film-shaped synthetic resins; processing the film-shaped synthetic resins into a first granular resin material; crushing the non-film-shaped synthetic resins into a second granular resin material; pneumatically feeding said first granular resin material and said second granular resin material; and blowing into a furnace. An apparatus comprises: a first processing line for processing film-shaped synthetic resins into a granular synthetic resin material; a second processing line for processing non-film-shaped synthetic resins into a granular synthetic resin material; a primary storage silo; and a blowing station for supplying the granular synthetic resin material into a furnace.
