  • Patent number: 7111532
Abstract: A torque wrench includes a driving shank received in a handle and having an intermediate portion pivotally attached to the handle with a pivot axle, and having two projections, a follower is slidably received in the handle and biased to engage with the driving shank by a spring biasing member, and two guiding members are fitted and retained between the driving shank and the handle and each includes a groove for slidably receiving the projections of the driving shank, and thus to stably guide the inner end of the driving shank to rotate and to move within the handle and to prevent the driving shank from being tilted or swung or vibrated relative to the handle. The grooves of the guiding members include a center of curvature located at the pivot axle of the driving shank and the handle.

  • Patent number: 6807881
Abstract: A ratchet wrench includes a driving head having two actuating surfaces and a corner formed in a chamber, a driven member rotatably received in the driving head, and a rod engaged between the driving head and the driven member and movable across the corner to engage with either of the actuating surfaces of the driving head. A detent device may be selectively engaged with the rod, to prevent the rod from moving across the corner of the driving head, and to retain the rod in engagement with either of the actuating surfaces of the driving head, and to prevent the rod to engage with different actuating surface inadvertently.

  • Patent number: 6334377
Abstract: An adjustable torque wrench includes a driving head having an arm received in a shank, and a follower and a spring received in the shank and guided to move along the shank. The follower may be moved to adjust the spring force against the arm. A handle is threaded onto the shank. A knob is secured to the follower. A lock may lock the follower to the shank and includes a control ferrule engaged on the knob and engaged onto the handle with such as a key or a teeth engagement in order to lock the knob to the handle and to prevent the knob from being rotated relative to the handle.
