Abstract: [Problem] To make it possible to switch display of plural windows depending on a situation such as a time and a place. [Solution] A mobile communication terminal stores condition data for applications that display a window. Condition data is data describing for applications, an application (namely, a window), an attribute of a location associated with the application, and a frequency at which the application has been executed. The mobile communication terminal, if plural overlapping windows are displayed, determines a window to be displayed on top, using the condition data. For example, the mobile communication terminal, if an attribute of a location of the terminal is “office”, and an application “groupware” is running, displays a window of the application on top.

Abstract: This invention provides a mobile base station device which can simplify the setting of internal functions, as well as a portable terminal used in operation of such a mobile base station device. In a mobile base station device 1 and a portable terminal 2, when the portable terminal 2 is physically connected to the mobile base station device 1 by means of a dedicated USB cable 6, one screen information item conforming to the type and browser of the portable terminal 2 is transmitted to the portable terminal 2, and a configuration settings screen for the mobile base station device 1 is displayed in the browser of the portable terminal 2.

Abstract: A mobile base station device and billing method, which can provide an incentive for use at a specific position, while securing convenience for users, are provided. In a mobile base station device 10, upon installation by an owner, registered user terminal-specific information transmitted from a network N, and installation position information specifying the installation position, are stored. When there is transmission from a portable terminal 30, judgment is made as to whether the user of the portable terminal 30 is a registered user and as to whether transmission is from within a prescribed area; only when these conditions are satisfied, a communication connection is established at a flat rate. By this means, in the mobile base station device 10, an incentive can be provided to users for use in a specific position. Further, billing adjustments are made for use at other than the specific position, but communication service is not completely forbidden, and user convenience is secured.

Abstract: This invention provides a mobile base station device which allows tamper resistance to be adequately secured even when the housing is opened illicitly. In a mobile base station device 1, when a housing 2 is opened illicitly, a user ID or similar is transmitted to a service management server 20, and the user attempting an illicit operation is identified. By registering the identified user on a blacklist, subsequent use of the mobile base station device 1 by this user can be prohibited. Also, in the mobile base station device 1, together with transmission of the user ID, a communication control program 7 is deleted from a communication control module 6, so that the interior of the housing 2 is rendered a “black box”, and modification and illicit use of the communication control program can be deterred. As a result, even when the housing 2 of the mobile base station device 1 is opened illicitly, tamper resistance can be adequately secured.

Abstract: In an information providing system 100, a virtual three-dimensional space (virtual space) is established by an information management server 40. A user of a mobile communication terminal 50 moves in the virtual space, and browses, posts, and searches message information items by manipulating an avatar representing the user. The information management server 40 manages the message information items and responds to searches requested from mobile communication terminals 50. The information management server 40 specifies an area where the number of message information items relevant to a search word specified by a user of a mobile communication terminal 50 is equal to or greater than a predetermined number. The information management server 40 outputs a guide information item for indicating a direction or route toward the specified area from the position of an avatar.

Abstract: In a mobile phone 1, in a state in which multiple windows are being displayed in a display 107, when an operation to change the size of any of the windows is performed, whether it is possible to display each window in the display 107 without overlapping after the change is determined.
