    Abstract: A fuel pressure pulsation suppressing system of a fuel piping system for a gasoline engine having a plurality of cylinders disposed in a straight, V-shape or horizontal opposed shape with delivery pipes for distributing fuel to the cylinders of return-less type without a return circuit to a fuel tank, wherein the cross section of at least one of communication pipes forming the delivery pipes forms a flexible absorbing face, an orifice portion for damping pressure pulse wave caused by fuel injection is installed near a connection part between at least one delivery pipe and a supply pipe or a connection pipe, and the cross sectional area of the flow passage of the orifice should desirably be 0.2 times the sectional area of the flow passage of the connection pipe or the supply pipe or below.

    Abstract: A fuel delivery rail assembly for supplying fuel to a plurality of fuel injectors in an engine is provided. The assembly comprises an elongate conduit having a longitudinal fuel passage therein, a fuel inlet pipe, and a plurality of sockets. Outer walls of the conduit include at least one flat or arcuate flexible first absorbing surface, which is smoothly and integrally connected to an arcuate second absorbing surface. The first absorbing surface or the second absorbing surface faces fuel inlet ports of the sockets. The sectional configuration of the conduit can be flat, a telephone receiver shape, a character “T” shape, a corrugation shape, a dumbbell shape or a reverse eye mask shape. Thus, fuel pressure pulsations and shock waves are reduced by abrupt enlargements of fuel passages and bendings of the absorbing surfaces.

    Abstract: A clamp body is provided for fixing a small diameter pipe to a base. The pipe has first and second straight portions and a bend therebetween. The clamp body is formed from a unitary member having first and second opposed ends and a fitting wall therebetween. The fitting wall has an aperture for mounting the clamp body to the base. First and second extension walls extends from the fitting wall toward the ends. Seizing walls are defined on the respective extension walls. Each seizing wall is bent through more than 180.degree. for fixedly embracing the respective straight pipe portions relative to the base. At least one of the extension walls is angularly bent relative to the fitting wall at a location spaced from the pipe.

    Abstract: A fluid pipe assembly comprises a block, and a discrete eye joint. The block has a rear wall defining a mounting surface adapted to be mounted to a base, and a side wall defining a recess. The block includes mounting holes extending therethrough, and a passage extending from the recess and terminating at the mounting surface. The eye joint includes a generally spherical wall defining an axial hole, and a short cylindrical wall extending from the generally spherical wall and communicated with the axial hole. The short cylindrical wall of the eye joint is brazed to the recess of the block to form a joint. A pipe includes a cylindrical wall in which an opening is formed. The pipe extendes through the axial hole of the eye joint so that the opening may be aligned with the short cylindrical wall. The pipe is brazed to the peripheral edges of the axial hole of the eye joint.

    Abstract: A fuel delivery rail assembly is disclosed for supplying fuel to a plurality of fuel injectors in an engine. The assembly includes an elongated conduit having a rectangular or square hollow section with a fuel passage therein and a plurality of sockets for making fluid communication between the conduit and the injectors. One end portion of the conduit at the fuel inlet side thereof is transformed into a circular hollow section by shrinking work or enlargement work from said rectangular or square section. Within the inside of the circular hollow section a fuel inlet pipe is inserted directly or indirectly via a straight adaptor and is brazed together, whereby the fuel inlet pipe is connected in alignment with the conduit.
