  • Patent number: 7538768
Abstract: An image display device capable of displaying an images on right and left image display elements (26I, and 26R) by receiving right and left image signals for displaying three-dimensional images which are fed alternately in a field sequence manner. The degree of influence on the viewer is operated by measuring the parallax value of the right and left image signals fed to the right and left image display elements (26L, and 26R) by a 3D protecting means (14), and it is judged whether or not the operated degree of influence reaches a reference value. If the operated degree of influence reaches the reference value, the degree of influence of the 3D image on the viewer is reduced by selectively displaying the result of the judgment on the right and left image display elements (26L, and 26R), so that the image can be viewed in a consistently suitable manner.

  • Patent number: 7372980
Abstract: According to this invention, a fingerprint sensor is mounted for fingerprint collation, and a movable protection unit which coverts the fingerprint sensor is arranged. In fingerprint authentication, the protection unit moves to expose the fingerprint sensor. Along with movement, the apparatus is powered on and activated, and the fingerprint sensor also operates to perform collation processing. The protection unit which covers the fingerprint sensor in normal use is formed by a member capable of handwriting input. This arrangement provides an information terminal apparatus which has a collation function and enables handwriting input.

  • Patent number: 6204877
Abstract: In order to provide an electronic image pickup system which can simplify the system arrangement, and can perform mutual transmission of image data and a remote-controlling operation, an electronic still camera on the master side transmits operation data for defining a photographing operation in accordance with an operation with respect to the camera on the master side to an electronic still camera on the slave side. The electronic still camera on the slave side receives the operation data from the master side, and performs a photographing operation corresponding to the operation data. The electronic still camera on the slave side transmits a picked-up image signal to the electronic still camera on the master side to display the image signal on the electronic viewfinder of the electronic still camera on the master side.
