  • Patent number: 8931760
Abstract: The ball valve may be manually opened and dosed with ease and securely prevent leakage. The ball valve includes a valve body having a fluid inlet passage, fluid outlet passage, and a communicating part provided between these passages. The ball valve includes a ball having a fluid communication passage and preferably is arranged on the communicating part of the valve body for rotating about a reference axis. A substantially cylindrical ball seat which preferably has a desired opening part on its peripheral wall and is arranged between the ball and valve body. The ball valve includes a ball seat pressing part inside the valve body, adjacent to the ball seat and a presser screw screwed into the inner periphery of the valve body. The presser screw preferably presses the ball seat pressing part by adjustment of its tightening force and presses the ball seat pressing part without contacting the packing.

  • Publication number: 20140061526
Abstract: A fluid inflow passage 3 is made up of an inner communication portion 11 having an upper end opening that leads to a center portion of a bottom surface of a recess 5 in a body and a lower end surface that is closed and an outer communication portion 12 having one end that leads to the inner communication portion 11 and the other end that forms a fluid inlet. The inner communication portion 11 has a column-like protruding portion 13 provided on the lower end surface 11a so as to form a column-like non-passage portion in the inner communication portion and thereby forms a cylindrical-hollow passage. It thus becomes possible to provide a diaphragm valve 1 with which a Cv value can be increased without increasing an outer shape.

  • Publication number: 20140001391
Abstract: Provided is a diaphragm valve that can improve durability when the diaphragm valve is downsized. In a pressing adaptor, a whole lower surface thereof has a taper shape at a predetermined inclination angle. A bottom surface of a depression of a body has a circular flat portion and a depression that is continued to an outer circumference of the flat portion and is depressed with respect to the flat portion. In a diaphragm, in a state where a fluid inflow channel is opened, an upper surface of an outer circumferential edge portion comes into surface contact with the taper-shaped lower surface of the pressing adaptor, and a lower surface of the outer circumferential edge portion comes into line contact with the outer circumference of the flat portion of the bottom surface of the depression of the body.
