  • Publication number: 20240044883
Abstract: Methods for the near real-time detection of airborne analytes using imprinted micelles and electrochemical cells are described. The methods demonstrate selectivity to the imprinted micelles over others that are of similar size and configuration and are compatible with airborne aerosol sampling techniques. The detection method can be used to monitor and detect any airborne analyte, including pathogens (such as SARS-CoV-2), toxins, proteins, organic molecules, inorganic particles, chemicals, explosive particles, and environmental pollutants.

  • Patent number: 11887142
Abstract: A computer device and method for processing risk related data to affect changes to an insurance policy whereby one or more terms of an insurance policy associated with an insured and informatic data from a plurality of sensor devices are received by a computer processor. Analysis is performed on the received informatic data to determine a risk assessment value regarding the insured and/or other risks relevant to the insurance policy, such as a dwelling. Predefined business rules are then applied using at least the determined risk assessment value to determine if conditions have been met to allow or require modification of the insurance policy whereafter modification of one or more terms of the insurance policy is performed if the insurance policy associated with the insured permits modification.

  • Patent number: 11869332
Abstract: A remote temperature monitoring system includes a first unit operatively connected to one or more temperature sensors for sensing the temperature of one or more materials or food items being cooked or heated. The first unit transmits the sensed temperature to a second unit that is located remotely from the first unit during heating. The second unit is programmable with the desired temperature and/or heating parameters of the item. By monitoring the temperature status of the item over time, the system determines when the food has reached the desired temperature or degree of cooking, and notifies the user.

  • Patent number: 11858774
Abstract: Folder systems and related methods are provided for accurately and efficiently folding a paper carrier that has a card attached without bending or dislodging the card from the carrier. A movable fold chute receives a portion of the carrier with the card attached and allows the carrier to fold while protecting the card portion of the carrier. The fold chute moves between different positions which allow the carrier to enter and exit through folding rollers along a generally straight paper path without forcing the cards around small radii, thereby preventing damage to the cards or causing them to separate from the carrier sheet.

  • Patent number: 11849935
Abstract: A tissue anchor assembly comprises a tissue anchor; a suture; and an adjustment button coupled with the suture. The adjustment button is adapted to adjust tension relative in the suture. When tension is applied to a second suture section trailing away from the tissue anchor, the adjustment button is engaged with the second suture section through locking splines and the adjustment button slides along a portion of the suture to increase a distance between the adjustment button and the tissue anchor. When tension is applied to a first suture section trailing away from the tissue anchor, the adjustment button moves in a direction towards the tissue anchor to reduce a distance between the adjustment button and the tissue anchor.

  • Publication number: 20230376541
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to capturing multiple types of data during execution of an application, the multiple types of data including data associated with messages published by nodes and metadata corresponding to execution of nodes. The multiple types of data are then stored with associated message identifiers to efficiently capture all data needed for playback. In some examples, such techniques allow for deterministic playback, even when nodes are concurrently operating on different compute systems.

  • Publication number: 20230376293
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates deploying an application. Some techniques described herein occur during compile time while executable code is being generated from source code. In one example, the executable code causes different operations in an application to be assigned to different compute systems such that particular operations are required to be executed on particular compute systems. The executable code may further include bridges that assist data being transmitted between different compute systems, the bridges generated during compile time. In another example, the executable code causes data to be sent to a recording service during execution of an application. The recording service, though not included in the source code before compile time, is configured to receive copies of data transmitted on a compute system including the recording service. The recording service may also be configured to receive metadata corresponding to operations executed on the compute system.
