Abstract: SR-IOV (single root IO virtualization) capable PCIe devices can implement virtual functions (VFs) that are assigned to VMs running on a host machine, thereby speeding IO operation by writing directly to the VMs' memory while bypassing the hypervisor managing the VMs. As such, VFs thwart the dirty page tracking that hypervisors use to minimize VM downtime when the VM is migrated between hosts. The SR-IOV PCIe devices can help resolve this problem by maintaining dirty page tracking data for VMs running on the host machine. The SR-IOV PCIe devices bypassing the hypervisor while writing into a memory page of the VM can set the dirty page tracking data to indicate the memory pages that are dirty (i.e., written to by the VF), and can provide access to the dirty page tracking data. The hypervisor can thereby obtain and use the dirty page tracking data.

Abstract: A mono-extruded hemp composite board (EHB) is provided. By combining hemp feedstocks with virgin and/or recycled binder materials and subsequently extruding them into an extrudate sheet, an environmentally friendly alternative to tradition construction materials is created. Secondary feedstocks and waste products from other production streams may be added during the extrusion process to enhance the physical characteristics of the extrudate sheet in addition to reducing the raw material costs and creating a more environmentally friendly construction material. The extrudate sheet produced using such materials is structurally superior to traditional construction materials due to the structural characteristics of dispersed hemp feedstocks; the complete encapsulation of hemp feedstocks in the binder material; and the lower hygroscopic and higher pest and mold resistance properties of hemp feedstocks.

The resulting EHB is structurally superior to traditional construction boards largely due to the structural characteristics of dispersed hemp hurd and hemp fiber, their complete encapsulation in a binder material, and their lower hygroscopic properties. Additionally, since the EHB is created using an extruder, a downstream extrusion arrangement may be used to mold the EHB into shapes that are difficult to achieve with traditional construction boards.

The kitchen appliance further includes a first appliance accessory with a first readable module and a second appliance accessory with a second readable module. A user interface on the body includes a visual display and a plurality of buttons under the visual display that are biased towards a user to provide haptic feedback. A control system is configured to receive a signal from the sensor of the presence of the first readable module or the second readable module and identify which of the first appliance accessory and the second appliance accessory are attached to the accessory connection surface by the signal. The control system is further configured to generate a graphic on the visual display specific to the identified appliance accessory.

Abstract: A thermostatic control device according to the present disclosure is configured to control the flow of coolant fluid from a reservoir through a heat exchanging circuit and/or a bypass back to a cooling circuit pump. The device controls the flow of coolant fluid based on temperature of the coolant fluid at the device. The thermostatic control device includes a thermostatic valve with notches that allow metered flow of coolant fluid to the heat exchanging circuit during opening of the thermostatic valve. By metering flow during opening, oscillation or rapid opening/closing movement of the valve can be avoided during the transition from a fully closed position of the thermostatic valve to a fully opened position of the thermostatic valve.
