Publication number: 20200345071Abstract: A personal vaporizer includes a heating element having a generally upside-down cup shape. An air warming space is defined within the cup shape, and intake air is delivered into the air warming space. Vaporization media is delivered adjacent a top wall of the heating element. The heating element warms the vaporization media so that it flows downwardly along a side wall of the heating element. The side wall of the heating element is heated sufficient to atomize the vaporization media. Warmed intake air from the air warming space is drawn through the atomized media, forming a vapor that can be inhaled by a user.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 15, 2020Publication date: November 5, 2020Applicant: VAPOROUS TECHNOLOGIES, INC.Inventor: J. Christian Rado

Publication number: 20200015524Abstract: A personal vaporizer is configured to be used with a battery assembly. An atomizer of the personal vaporizer is configured to atomize vaporizing media, which atomized media becomes entrained in air flowing through the vaporization chamber to form a vapor. The personal vaporizer can include a warming element that warms vaporizing media within the tank without atomizing such media in order to reduce the viscosity of such media and improve media flow within the tank. The warming element can be passive or electrically powered.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 16, 2019Publication date: January 16, 2020Inventor: J. Christian Rado

Publication number: 20190373954Abstract: A personal vaporizer is constructed so that a tank module is filled with a vaporizing medium prior to being attached to a mouthpiece module. During filling, the tank module is in a first configuration in which a structure blocks media within the tank from flowing into an air path of the tank module. When the mouthpiece module is attached to the tank module after filling, the structure is modified, moving the tank module into a second configuration. However, in the second configuration an elongated tube of the mouthpiece module blocks media within the tank from flowing into the air path of the tank module.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 11, 2019Publication date: December 12, 2019Inventor: J. Publication number: 20190297945Abstract: A cartridge is selectively usable with a personal vaporizer. The cartridge may include a chamber for holding a vaporizing medium such as a liquid solution. The cartridge may also include an atomizer that can be manufactured as a unit with the chamber. The cartridge can be attached to a vaporizer structure such as a battery assembly. A cartridge cover fits over and encloses the cartridge therewithin. The cartridge cover can employ decorative aspects that match or complement decorative aspects of the battery assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 5, 2019Publication date: October 3, 2019Applicant: Lubby Holding, LLCInventor: J. Patent number: 10327470Abstract: A vaporizer assembly is shaped and configured to fit partially into a downstem of a water pipe. The vaporizer assembly includes a housing including an upper portion and a lower portion. The lower portion has a smaller diameter, and fits in the downstem. The upper portion of the vaporizer assembly includes a bowl or dish, and a heat source is enclosed within the housing and positioned and configured to selectively heat the bowl or dish. A body of the vaporizer adjacent the bowl includes vapor passages. One or more passages are also formed in the lower portion. Thus, essential oils or waxes placed in the bowl can be vaporized by the heat. The generated vapor may flow from the bowl into and through the vapor passages and lower portion passage and into the waterpipe's downstem.Type: GrantFiled: May 29, 2018Date of Patent: June 25, 2019Assignee: Lubby Holdings, LLCInventor: J. Patent number: 10321721Abstract: A vaporizer is configured to receive electric energy from an external power source, and apply that energy to atomize a vaporizing medium disposed within the vaporizer. The vaporizer may be sized and configured to fit within the downstem of a water pipe. A power source receiver is formed on a side of the vaporizer. The power source receiver comprises a first node, a second node electrically insulated relative to the first node, and a magnet. The external power source has an electrical connector that also has electric nodes and a magnet. When the power source connector is arranged adjacent the power source receiver, the opposing magnets attract one another, pulling the power source and vaporizer into properly-aligned contact so that the nodes are engaged. As such, the external power source can provide power to operate the vaporizer.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2018Date of Patent: June 18, 2019Inventor: J. Christian Rado

Patent number: 10244792Abstract: A personal vaporizer is configured to be usable both for non-liquid vaporizing media and for liquid vaporizing media. In some embodiments an electrically conductive check valve blocks vaporizing media from leaking out of air intake apertures during periods of nonuse, and delivers electric power to a heating element during use. In some embodiments, no wick structures extend into a fluid chamber, but a wick extends from a wick holder downstream of the fluid chamber to a vaporizing chamber.Type: GrantFiled: December 30, 2015Date of Patent: April 2, 2019Inventor: J. Patent number: 10188145Abstract: A personal vaporizer has an atomizer module having a heating element and an atomizer cup for receiving vaporizing medium. A flow module is releasably attached to the atomizer module. The flow module intakes ambient air and directs the air into a vaporizing chamber at and adjacent the atomizer cup, where the air mixes with atomized medium to form a vapor. The vapor exits the vaporizing chamber via one or more exit passages defined through the flow module. Vapor is directed from the exit passages into a mouthpiece and further into the user's mouth.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2016Date of Patent: January 29, 2019Inventor: J. Christian Rado
