Abstract: Aspects and embodiments disclosed herein include a highly efficient electric motor which can be embodied in several configurations, including a standard motor, a hub motor, a linear motor, or other motor configuration. In one example, there is provided a motor comprising a rotor including a plurality of magnets and a stator including at least one coil module, the at least one coil module including a plurality of coils of conductive material, the plurality of coils arranged horizontally displaced from one another and retained in a matrix material of the at least one coil module.
