  • Publication number: 20240052655
Abstract: A universal wraparound cover fastening system wherein the cover includes opposed ends mated with a fastening system. The fastening system includes a dual hook spring mechanism, with a first end affixed to an attachment point on the cover, and the opposite end hook mated with an extender. The extender includes at least one eyelet for attaching to the dual hook spring and a hook opposite the eyelet for mating with an attachment point on an opposite end of the cover around a step. The extender may include one or more eyelets along its length. Eyelets may include a single curl, or multiple coils. The wraparound cover can therefore be fitted over numerous side supported step types and sizes with varied extenders to minimize needs to provide additional attachment points on the step covers.

  • Patent number: 9945137
Abstract: A wraparound cover for a step or a seat includes rods on opposed ends beneath the step and tie wraps engaging the rods through holes in the opposed ends to secure the cover to the step. Each opposed end may be bifurcated into two parts to accommodate a riser supporting the step. In such configuration, a rod and holes are formed at each of the parts to accommodate tie wraps for drawing the rods in opposed parts of the opposed ends toward one another to secure the wraparound cover about the step or the seat.

  • Patent number: 7926768
Abstract: An inclined support system for a drain hose enhances drainage of wastewater from a holding tank of a recreational vehicle to a disposal facility. The support system includes one or more sawhorse-like fixtures with legs having slanted lower edges in contact with the ground to provide an inclined drain hose supporting cross member. The legs pivot about the cross member and upon insertion of the drain hose intermediate the legs above the cross member, the upper ends of the legs bear thereagainst to define and stabilize the cant or splay of the legs. Upon removal of the hose, the elements of the fixture are foldable to a compact flattened configuration for storage. In another embodiment, one or more slotted cylindrical elements serve as a support for the drain hose. A plurality of pairs of descending length legs are detachably attachable within opposed channels depending from the support to place the support at an incline and enhance the flow of fluid through the drain hose.

  • Patent number: 7611020
Abstract: Opposed walls of three hingedly attached grid walls are secured to one another by a first strap having folded back ends for partially encircling a segment of a wire element of each opposed grid wall. A second strap is placed adjacent the first strap with the ends of the second strap bearing against the partially encircled wire elements to retain the wire elements within the respective folded back ends. Nylon ties or bolts may be used to secure the first and second straps to one another. Two or more pairs of first and second straps support a grid wall serving as a shelf and the shelf may be secured to the straps by pairs of nylon ties. To provide mobility to the display rack, fixed or pivotable wheels are supported by the lowermost pairs of first and second straps and may be secured thereto by nylon ties or by nut and bolt combinations. A billboard unit having four panels is formed by two three-segmented panels placed orthogonally upon one another to permit upward bending of the pairs of outer panels.

  • Patent number: 6170882
Abstract: A coupling interconnects either of two conventional types of waste water outlets used to discharge waste water from a waste water holding tank of a recreational vehicle with a discharge hose to convey the waste water to a remote location. A sleeve of the coupling penetrably engages an internal cylindrical surface in either outlet and is of a common diameter to concentrically locate the coupling irrespective of differences in the external size of the outlets. A pair of hooks extend from the coupling to engage dogs extending radially from either engaged outlet to retain the coupling in place. A seal seals the junction between the coupling and the outlet to prevent leakage of waste water therebetween. The discharge hose is connectable in fluid communication with the sleeve to convey the waste water from the coupling.

  • Patent number: 5667251
Abstract: A coupling having an extending repositionable discharge tube for engagement with a discharge hose is mechanically lockably attachable to either of two different conventional waste water discharge outlets mounted on a recreational vehicle. Each of the waste water discharge outlets includes a set of four equiangularly spaced dogs and the set of dogs on each discharge outlet is differently configured. The coupling includes a different set of locking slots disposed at each end for receiving and lockingly engaging a corresponding one of the two sets of dogs. The discharge tube is relocatable to extend from one end of the coupling to permit engagement of the set of slots in the other end of the coupling with the set of dogs corresponding with the discharge outlet.

  • Patent number: 5657792
Abstract: One end of a sleeve is inserted into a waste water discharge outlet of a recreational vehicle until an annular flange abuts the discharge outlet. Each of a plurality of plastic ties interconnects one dog attendant the discharge outlet and the annular flange to retain the sleeve in engagement with the discharge outlet. A cap is removably attached to the other end of the sleeve to close the sleeve when a conventional discharge hose is not mounted on the other end of the sleeve. The cap may include a hollow threaded boss for threadedly engaging the end of a garden hose. A further removable cap is included for the boss to accommodate closure of the boss.
