Abstract: A communication network system includes a plurality of client computers communicatively coupled to a network, which in turn is coupled to one or more server computers and at least one database. A method for reviewing and tracking workflow tasks, anomalies and other information using the system provides real-time access of the status of tasks and projects on a continuing basis. Individuals interact with the system to provide updates to the status of tasks. The system automatically escalates the completion of an overdue task or anomaly that has failed to be completed within a predetermined time period.

Abstract: A system for electronically creating, filing and approving applications for insurance coverage comprises an application processing system, a risk information system, at least one insurer system and a plurality of agent terminals coupled by a network such as the Internet. The application processing system advantageously presents a user interface via an agent terminal to allow a producer to input information. The application processing system creates a completed insurance application from the input information along with additional information gathered form the risk information system. The application processing system generates one or more applications and automatically submits them to respective insurer systems.
