Patent number: 11979951Abstract: A window operable to separate an interior from an exterior is disclosed. The window comprises a pressure pane and an anti-condensation assembly. The anti-condensation assembly is disposed in an interior direction relative the pressure pane. Further, the anti-condensation assembly comprises a substantially transparent substrate disposed in a spaced apart relationship relative the pressure pane. Additionally, the anti-condensation assembly comprises a resistively heatable layer associated with the first substrate. The resistively heatable layer is operable to generate heat when an electrical current is applied thereto. Accordingly, application of power to the resistively heatable layer may serve to reduce or eliminate the presence of visible condensation in the window.Type: GrantFiled: October 8, 2020Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: GENTEX CORPORATIONInventors: Henry A. Patent number: 11076007Abstract: The techniques discussed herein allow an agent that provides dialog-based services to converse with a user via any mode. A central service programmed to be able to communicate via any mode collects information from agents necessary to act on the agents' behalf. In order to ensure that an agent has a maximal presence across modes, the central service provides auxiliary services such as language translation, fidelity upgrading and/or downgrading, modal constraint conformation, etc. Moreover, the central service provides session tracking via user profiles stored at the intercom so that if a user changes a mode by which the user is conversing with an agent, the central service can keep the context of the conversation across the new mode. Furthermore, agents can communicate with other agents via the central service, allowing other agents to provide services to agents or to add their services to an ongoing dialog with a user.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2020Date of Patent: July 27, 2021Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: Thomas Matthew Laird-McConnell, Lili Cheng, James H. Patent number: 10895205Abstract: A multi-port injection system for injecting fluid into a plurality of fluid injection ports during a plurality of fluid injection cycles. The system provides highly accurate measurement of the volume of fluid injected into each injection port during each fluid injection cycle. The system generally includes a fluid holding tank, measuring tubes, a pump, a plurality of port valves coupled to the fluid injection ports, a fluid return valve, volume sensors, and a control unit. During a fluid injection cycle the control unit causes a portion of fluid to be pumped from a measuring tube to a port valve. After each fluid injection cycle, the control unit causes the fluid return valve to return the portion of fluid that was not injected to the measuring tube before the volume of fluid injected is measured.Type: GrantFiled: October 8, 2019Date of Patent: January 19, 2021Assignee: FlowCore Systems, LLCInventors: Ian C. Black, Alec J. Driscoll, Charles D. Black, Steven E. Hayden

Patent number: 10884437Abstract: A continuous fluid metering system for continuously dispensing a fluid for injection and for accurately measuring the fluid dispensed. The system generally includes one or more fill valves for transferring fluid from an additive tank to first and second measuring tubes, one or more injection valves for directing fluid dispensed by the measuring tubes to an injection point such as an oil well, a pump, and first and second sensors that indicate the volume of fluid dispensed by the first and second measuring tubes as it is dispensed. The system also includes a control unit that controls the injection and fill valves to cause the fluid dispensed from the first and second measuring tubes to be alternately and continuously and directed to the injection point, and the first and second measuring tubes to be alternately and repeatedly refilled without substantial interrupting the flow of fluid to the injection point.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2019Date of Patent: January 5, 2021Assignee: FlowCore Systems, LLCInventors: Charles D. Black, Ian C. Black, Alec J. Driscoll, Steven E. Hayden

Patent number: 10777201Abstract: A server is provided, including a processor configured to execute a bot server program. The bot server program may receive from a computing device an input with an input type that includes one or more of speech and text. The bot server program may programmatically generate an output, wherein the output is generated based on the input. The bot server program may detect one or more output types capable of being output by the computing device and select an output type from a plurality of output types that may include speech and text. The selected output type may be an output type capable of being output by the computing device. The bot server program may modify the programmatically generated output to produce a modified output with the selected output type, and may convey the modified output to the computing device for output on a display and/or speaker.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2017Date of Patent: September 15, 2020Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Adina Magdalena Trufinescu, Khuram Shahid, Daniel J. Patent number: 10706410Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that enable a vendor to utilize a digital wallet service to complete an online transaction with a user via a messaging channel (e.g., a chat channel), in a scenario where the vendor does not have a front end application running on the user's client device (i.e., there is no mechanism for the vendor's web-based application, such as a bot, to communicate with a digital wallet application running on the user's device). An online digital wallet service generates and caches a payment request (which can be rendered at a later time by the digital wallet service for interaction with the user) which is requested by the vendor, and provides the vendor with a reference to the cached payment request. The vendor provides the reference to the user such that the user can access the payment request via the link.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 2017Date of Patent: July 7, 2020Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: Daniel J. Driscoll, Trent J. Byfield, Matthew S. Harlan, Matthias B. Pisut, Jonathan L. Cutler
