Patent number: 11963801Abstract: A system and method provides a glucose report for determining glycemic risk based on an ambulatory glucose profile of glucose data over a time period, a glucose control assessment based on median and variability of glucose, and indicators of high glucose variability. Time of day periods are shown at which glucose levels can be seen. A median glucose goal and a low glucose line provide coupled with glucose variability provide a view into effects that raising or lowering the median goal would have. Likelihood of low glucose, median glucose compared to goal, and variability of glucose below median provide probabilities based on glucose data. Patterns can be seen and provide guidance for treatment.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 2018Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: Abbott Diabetes Care Inc.Inventors: Erwin S. Budiman, Kenneth J. Patent number: 11953706Abstract: Wavelength-selective films are visibly apparent under the selective wavelength. Wavelength-selective films typically reflect off axis the selected wavelength and therefore can provide high-contrast against a background when applied in a pattern on a substrate. However, it is difficult to apply unique patterned embedded images from film. Disclosed is a cost-effective method and construction of a patterned wavelength-selective image to a substrate. In the disclosed wavelength-selective image, wavelength-selective film particles are applied to an adhesive pattern to create the wavelength-selective image.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2019Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: 3M INNOVATIVE PROPERTIES COMPANYInventors: Kui Chen-Ho, Kenneth L. Publication number: 20240071593Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that provide smart alerts to users, e.g., alerts to users about diabetic states that are only provided when it makes sense to do so, e.g., when the system can predict or estimate that the user is not already cognitively aware of their current condition, e.g., particularly where the current condition is a diabetic state warranting attention. In this way, the alert or alarm is personalized and made particularly effective for that user. Such systems and methods still alert the user when action is necessary, e.g., a bolus or temporary basal rate change, or provide a response to a missed bolus or a need for correction, but do not alert when action is unnecessary, e.g., if the user is already estimated or predicted to be cognitively aware of the diabetic state warranting attention, or if corrective action was already taken.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 24, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Anna Leigh DAVIS, Scott M. Patent number: 11893634Abstract: A method and system may detect and correct errors in consumer reporting. A secure data file such as a Metro 2® formatted file may be obtained for a consumer that includes the consumer's credit information. A consumer reporting server may generate a non-sensitive private information (non-SPI) consumer identifier that references non-SPI consumer credit information included in the Metro 2® formatted file. Then a member of the organization may access the non-SPI consumer credit information to review the non-SPI consumer credit information and detect and correct errors. Errors may be detected by training a machine learning model using a first set of non-sensitive private information (non-SPI) consumer credit information from statements including errors and a second set of non-SPI consumer credit information from statements that do not include errors. The non-SPI consumer credit information for the consumer may be applied to the model to identify errors.Type: GrantFiled: December 9, 2021Date of Patent: February 6, 2024Assignee: STATE FARM MUTUAL AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE COMPANYInventors: Arthur McWain, James J. Patent number: 11836842Abstract: In some implementations, a method is performed by a device including a non-transitory memory and one or more processors coupled with the non-transitory memory. In some implementations, the method includes obtaining user movement information. In some implementations, the user movement information characterizes a first body pose of the user at a first time and a second body pose of the user at a second time. In some implementations, the method includes determining whether a transition from the first body pose to the second body pose satisfies an acceptability threshold. In some implementations, the method includes in response to determining that the transition from the first body pose to the second body pose satisfies the acceptability threshold, generating a sequence of movements for a synthesized reality (SR) representation of the user.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2022Date of Patent: December 5, 2023Inventors: Ian M. Publication number: 20230324690Abstract: A head-mounted device may have a head-mounted support structure. Displays may present images to eye boxes at the rear of the head-mounted support structure. Cameras and other sensors may be supported by the head-mounted support structure. Tracking cameras may be used to track the movement of a user's hands or other external objects. In dim ambient lighting conditions, a supplemental illumination system may be activated to provide supplemental illumination for the tracking cameras. A single beam of supplemental illumination may be emitted over a given coverage area or a smaller beam of supplemental illumination may be steered across the given coverage area. Patent number: 11699270Abstract: In various implementations, a device surveys a scene and presents, within the scene, a extended reality (XR) environment including one or more assets that evolve over time (e.g., change location or age). Modeling such an XR environment at various timescales can be computationally intensive, particularly when modeling the XR environment over larger timescales. Accordingly, in various implementations, different models are used to determine the environment state of the XR environment when presenting the XR environment at different timescales.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 2022Date of Patent: July 11, 2023Assignee: APPLE INC.Inventors: Bo Morgan, Mark E.
