  • Publication number: 20130277903
Abstract: A vise jaw plate includes a plurality of equally sized holes arranged in a pattern and extending through a front side of the vise jaw plate which cooperate with dowel pins and work holders to position and support a work piece. Horizontally spaced mounting bores are arranged for cooperative alignment with vise jaw mounting holes to permit the attachment of the vise jaw plate to the vise jaw. The mounting bores include a first frustoconical portion, a second frustoconical portion and a straight bore portion joining the confronting narrow ends of the first and second frustoconcial portions. The mounting bores and the vise jaw mounting holes have offset center-lines that become coaxially aligned during attachment of the vise jaw plate to the vise jaw causing the vise jaw plate to become fully seated against a deck surface of the vise.

  • Publication number: 20130277904
Abstract: An adjustable angle workpiece positioning disc includes a partial quarter section defining confronting and intersecting surfaces that form an orthogonal angle therebetween. A central through hole located at the center of the disc. Disc coordinate axes originated at the center of the central through hole. Pluralities of angle through holes are arrayed about the central through hole. The disc is mountable to the plate by doweling the central through hole with a dowel pin receiving hole and by doweling one angle through hole with a dowel pin receiving hole in accordance with a desired revolved angle between the disc coordinate axes and the plate coordinate axes.

  • Patent number: 8381827
Abstract: Tillage blade assemblies comprising a coil spring with a horizontal spring axis to permit upward deflection of a concave tillage blade in response to impact with obstacles with a mounting assembly that provides for mounting the tillage blades in a particular orientation relative to the ground and the direction of travel of the implement. Forces acting on the tillage assembly due to movement of the blade through the soil are balanced such that there is little or no distortion of the coil spring relative to its spring axis. This prevents an off-axis load from acting on the spring when the assembly is in use and allows the blade to track through the soil at a desired angle. Impact with obstacles, such as rocks, is absorbed by deflection of the coil spring, thereby mitigating damage to the assembly. Tillage implements comprising the blade assemblies are able to operate at higher speeds than can usually be obtained for tillage implements, due to the absorption of impact energy by the spring.

  • Publication number: 20130007043
Abstract: Methods and systems for time-synchronous voice annotation of video and audio media enable effective searching of time-based media content. A user record one or more types voice annotation onto corresponding named voice annotation tracks, which are stored within a media object comprising the time-based media and the annotations. The one or more annotation tracks can then be selectively searched for content using speech or text search terms. Various workflows enable voice annotation to be performed using media editing systems, or one or more stand alone voice annotations systems that permit multiple annotators to operate in parallel, generating different kinds of annotations, and returning their annotation tracks to a central location for consolidation.
