The system then selects a plurality of pharmacies meeting one or more search parameters, wherein the one or more search parameters comprise a maximum distance from a location or a geographical region. Inventories of the plurality of pharmacies are queried to determine whether the one or more drugs are in stock in each of the plurality of pharmacies. A list of recommended pharmacies is generated based on the querying of the inventories of the plurality of pharmacies and provided to the customer.
