Patent number: 11509667Abstract: IPRID reputation assessment enhances cybersecurity. IPRIDs include IP addresses, domain names, and other network resource identities. A convolutional neural network or other machine learning model is trained with data including aggregate features or rollup features or both. Aggregate features may include aggregated submission counts, classification counts, HTTP code counts, detonation statistics, and redirect counts, for instance. Rollup features reflect hierarchical rollups of data using <unknown> value placeholders specified in IPRID templates. The trained model can predictively infer a label, or produce a rapid lookup table of IPRIDs and maliciousness probabilities. Training data may be organized in grids with rows, columns, planes, branches, and slots. Training data may include whois data, geolocation data, and tenant data. Training data tuple sets may be expanded by date or by original IPRID.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2019Date of Patent: November 22, 2022Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Douglas J. Patent number: 11379577Abstract: Cybersecurity enhancements help avoid malicious Uniform Resource Locators (URLs). Embodiments may reduce or eliminate reliance on subjective analysis or detonation virtual machines. URL substrings are automatically analyzed for maliciousness using malice patterns. Patterns may test counts, lengths, rarity, encodings, and other inherent aspects of URLs. URLs may be analyzed individually, or in groups to detect shared portions, or both. URL analysis may use or avoid machine learning, and may use or avoid lookups. Malice patterns may be used individually or in combinations to detect malicious URLs. Analysis results may enhance security through blocking use of suspect URLs, flagging them for further analysis, or allowing their validated use, for instance. Analysis results may also be fed back to further train a machine learning model or a statistical model.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2019Date of Patent: July 5, 2022Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Amar D. Patent number: 11167503Abstract: The present invention provides novel hybrid self-reinforced composites, combining an oriented brittle fibre and an oriented thermoplastic polymeric ductile fibre (as reinforcement phase) in the same thermoplastic polymeric matrix phase. The hybrid self-reinforced composites are strong and stiff, but in case of impact or crash they have high strain to failure and absorb a lot of energy. The present invention also relates to methods to produce said hybrid self-reinforced composites by a hot compaction technique.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 2013Date of Patent: November 9, 2021Assignee: KATHOLIEKE UNIVERSITEIT LEUVENInventors: Mark J. Patent number: 11057334Abstract: Message management and classification techniques are described. In one or more implementations, a message received from a sender for delivery via a user account is examined to extract one or more features of the message. A determination is then made as to whether the message corresponds to one or more categories based on the extracted features, the categories usable to enable features to be applied to the message in a user interface.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 2016Date of Patent: July 6, 2021Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Paul M. Patent number: 11002261Abstract: Modular mechanically driven diaphragm pump features are presented herein. Such a diaphragm pump can include a motor, a drive mechanism, and a coupling mounted on a wheeled frame. A diaphragm pump can be mounted to the coupling by forming mechanical static and dynamic connections to brace a housing of the diaphragm pump relative to a drive rod which is moved by the drive mechanism to operate the pump. These mechanical static and dynamic connections can be broken to dismount the pump for replacement or servicing. In some cases, a gas charge can be introduced on the non-working fluid side of the diaphragm to boost performance and/or a dampener can be integrated into the housing of the diaphragm pump and mounted/dismounted with the diaphragm pump.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2017Date of Patent: May 11, 2021Assignee: Graco Minnesota Inc.Inventors: Bradley J. Hines, Brian W. Koehn, Christopher C. Hines, Adam K. Collins

Patent number: 9544260Abstract: A rapid assignment dynamic ownership queue for text message sessions queues incoming text messages destined for a service bureau, at a network server. Simultaneous access is provided to any one text message of the queued incoming text messages to a plurality of operator terminals at the service bureau. Initial ownership of the one text message is assigned as a result of a first acting terminal of the plurality of operator terminals having completed an action in service to the text message, and ownership is re-assigned to a subsequent operator terminal having completed another action in service to the text message after the first acting terminal. A configurable escalation queue may be implemented to assign an escalation code to each queued item, regardless of its position in the queue list, to alter the presentation of the queue item.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 2013Date of Patent: January 10, 2017Assignee: Telecommunication Systems, Inc.Inventors: Michael Cuff, Chih Wang, Farhad Kasad, Firdaus Aryana, Gordon J. Patent number: 9524733Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for using a model of human speech quality perception to provide an objective measure for predicting subjective quality assessments. A Virtual Speech Quality Objective Listener (ViSQOL) model is a signal-based full-reference metric that uses a spectro-temporal measure of similarity between a reference signal and test speech signal. Specifically, the model provides for the ability to detect and predict the level of clock drift, and determine whether such clock drift will impact a listener's quality of experience.Type: GrantFiled: May 10, 2013Date of Patent: December 20, 2016Assignee: Google Inc.Inventors: Jan Skoglund, Andrew J. Patent number: 9467560Abstract: A logic history can be provided for every request or call instance through a distributed computing system that uniquely traces its entire path, end-to-end, in-band within the messaging for the system. The end result is a single true representation of what occurred with no post computational inference. Accordingly, unique logic history codes are not forced across the system. Rather sub-components that are logic history enabled can use codes that have meaning and applicability to itself. Unique logic history codes are not forced across the system, which in practice would be brittle. Rather each sub-component that is logic history enabled can use codes that have meaning and applicability only to itself. This allows the system to be flexible and lets sub-components change and redefine their logic and logic history traces without impacting the rest of the system.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2015Date of Patent: October 11, 2016Assignee: Telecommunication Systems, Inc.Inventors: Gerhard Geldenbott, Gordon J.
