  • Publication number: 20220292455
Abstract: Systems and methods for prioritizing trailers can include receiving a list of trailers at a distribution center, determining, for each trailer, an aggregate inventory readiness date, and ranking, into a high priority list, one or more trailers of the trailers that contain high priority items. The method can also include ranking, into an inventory readiness date list, one or more trailers of the trailers that were not added to the high priority list based on the aggregate inventory readiness date of each trailer, selecting, from the inventory readiness date list, trailers having the same aggregate inventory readiness date, ranking those trailers into a store need list based on one or more of the trailers containing needed items. The method can also include generating a trailer unload prioritization list based on combining the high priority list, the inventory readiness date list, and the store need list, and outputting the list.

  • Patent number: 11434634
Abstract: A long-span structure engaged with a plurality of first and second transportation devices for moving the long span structure. The transportation devices travel along parallel, longitudinally-oriented first and second tracks; moving the structure between a first position and a second position. A first region of the structure is fixed to each first transportation device. A second region of the structure is secured to each second transportation device via a bearing assembly. The first and second regions of the structure are laterally spaced apart. When the long-span structure thermally expands or contracts, a slider plate of each bearing assembly moves laterally relative to the rest of the bearing assembly. Growth of the structure in a predictable direction is forced by keeping the first region thereof fixed against lateral movement with the first transportation devices and allowing movement of the second region thereof via the bearing assemblies on the second transportation devices.

  • Patent number: 11404838
Abstract: A method for inserting preformed solder members into connector pins for use with electrical connectors. The method generally includes a connector pin having an open cavity at one end, into which a preformed solder member can be first inserted and then pressed, rather than melted, in place, such that voids and air spaces within the cavity are substantially eliminated. The method allows for inserting solder members in high quantities, where the preformed solder members are placed in a fixture and the fixture is placed on a shaker table, so that solder members can be inserted into large numbers of connector pins that are pre-installed in connector grommets, largely simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20220231962
Abstract: A network interface controller (NIC) capable of facilitating efficient data request management is provided. The NIC can be equipped with a command queue, a message chopping unit (MCU), and a traffic management logic block. During operation, the command queue can store a command issued via a host interface. The MCU can then determine a type of the command and a length of a response of the command. If the command is a data request, the traffic management logic block can determine whether the length of the response is within a threshold. If the length exceeds the threshold, the traffic management logic block can pace the command such that the response is within the threshold.

  • Publication number: 20220217096
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided to facilitate network egress fairness between applications. At an egress port of a network, an arbitrator can provide fairness-based traffic shaping to data associated with applications. The desired fairness-based traffic shaping can be provided based on bandwidth, traffic classes, or other parameters. Consequently, the egress link's bandwidth can be allocated with fairness among the applications.

  • Publication number: 20220217078
Abstract: A data-driven intelligent networking system that can facilitate tracing of data flow packets is provided. The system add tracer packets to data flow packets arriving at an ingress point of the network. As the tracer packets progress through network in-band with the data flow packets, the system can copy, at each switch, trace data into pre-defined fields in the tracer packets. When the data flow packets arrive at an egress point of the network the system can separate the trace data from the data flow packet for analysis. Based on the analysis of the trace data, the system can adopt one or more policies to mitigate the impact of congestion on time-sensitive applications.

  • Publication number: 20220217090
Abstract: Data-driven intelligent networking systems and methods are provided. The system can accommodate dynamic traffic with fast, effective endpoint congestion detection and control. The system can maintain state information of individual packet flows, which can be set up or released dynamically based on injected data. Each flow can be provided with a flow-specific input queue upon arriving at a switch. Packets of a respective flow can be acknowledged after reaching the egress point of the network, and the acknowledgement packets can be sent back to the ingress point of the flow along the same data path. As a result, each switch can obtain state information of each flow and perform flow control on a per-flow basis.

  • Patent number: 11381033
Abstract: A self-locking connector provides an electrical connection between sources, equipment, devices, and the like. The self-locking connector generally includes first and second connector components with first and second housings that include corresponding electrically conductive elements, first and second magnetic elements, and first and second lock elements. One housing includes stationary and movable housing components. The connector components are brought into a coupled state with the corresponding electrically conductive elements providing an electrical connection. As the connector components are brought into the coupled state, the movable housing component automatically moves and brings the locking elements into locked engagement. The magnetic elements urge the connector components in the coupled state and the locking elements in locked engagement.

  • Patent number: 11374353
Abstract: A magnetic latching connector for making electrical connections between cables, electrical power and signal sources, equipment and the like in a variety of medical and other applications in which it is desired to have the connection maintained with a predetermined amount of magnetic attractive force. The magnetic latching connector generally includes male and female connector components. The male and female connector components comprise male and female couplings and male and female coupling housings. The male and female coupling housings enclose electrical connections between the male and female couplings and electrical cables. Recessed within the male and female couplings are electrically conductive pins and sockets and male and female magnetic latching elements. When the male and female connector components are coupled, the pins and sockets provide electrical connections and the recessed magnetic latching elements provide a predetermined magnetic attraction force to maintain the connections.

  • Publication number: 20220200897
Abstract: A network interface controller (NIC) capable of efficient management of non-idempotent operations is provided. The NIC can be equipped with a network interface, storage management logic block, and an operation management logic block. During operation, the network interface can receive a request for an operation from a remote device. The storage management logic block can store, in a local data structure, outcome of operations executed by the NIC. The operation management logic block can determine whether the NIC has previously executed the operation. If the NIC has previously executed the operation, the operation management logic block can obtain an outcome of the operation from the data structure and generate a response comprising the obtained outcome for responding to the request.

  • Publication number: 20220197831
Abstract: A network interface controller (NIC) capable of efficient memory access is provided. The NIC can be equipped with an operation logic block, a signaling logic block, and a tracking logic block. The operation logic block can maintain an operation group associated with packets requesting an operation on a memory segment of a host device of the NIC. The signaling logic block can determine whether a packet associated with the operation group has arrived at or departed from the NIC. Furthermore, the tracking logic block can determine that a request for releasing the memory segment has been issued. The tracking logic block can then determine whether at least one packet associated with the operation group is under processing in the NIC. If no packet associated with the operation group is under processing in the NIC, tracking logic block can notify the host device that the memory segment can be released.

  • Publication number: 20220185398
Abstract: A suspension and drive system includes front and rear torsion axle assemblies. The front torsion axle assembly includes a front axle, a front shaft, and a front arm connecting the front axle to the front shaft. The rear torsion axle assembly includes a rear axle, a rear shaft, and a rear arm connecting the rear axle to the rear shaft. A center of the front torsion axle assembly and the rear torsion axle assembly together define a quadrilateral. The front axle defines a first vertex of the quadrilateral, the front shaft defines a second vertex of the quadrilateral, the rear shaft defines a third vertex of the quadrilateral, and the rear axle defines a fourth vertex of the quadrilateral. An interior angle of the quadrilateral at the fourth vertex is less than an interior angle of the quadrilateral at the second vertex.
