  • Publication number: 20210217295
Abstract: Implementations of the disclosed subject matter provide systems and methods of granting temporary control access of a home security system of a first user to a second user, where the temporary control access is for at least a portion of a home security system for a predetermined period of time. One or more tasks to be completed for the first user may be completed by the second user while having temporary control access to the home security system. The temporary control access of the second user to the at least a portion of the home security system of the first user may be revoked when the predetermined period of time has elapsed. The second user may receive a notification may be received for a security event, a safety event, a home event, and a package delivery event after the predetermined period of time has lapsed.

  • Publication number: 20210141523
Abstract: The described technology is directed towards a platform-independent user interface (UI) system. Views and other objects at the platform-independent UI system level perform layout, scrolling, virtualization, styling, data binding via data models and/or readiness. Input handling and output to a display tree are also performed at this level. An abstraction layer processes the display tree into function calls to objects of the underlying platform to render visible output.

  • Publication number: 20210109979
Abstract: The described technology is directed towards data-driven navigation, in which a next navigation location depends on variable data associated with an interactive user interface element (rather than a fixed link). The data may be in a hierarchy of data models. A menu contains interactive navigation elements, each bound to a data model. A selected interactive navigation element results in locating a data model associated with the selected element. The data model is used to determine the next navigation location. Also described is hierarchical navigation to one item of a level as well as lateral and peer navigation.

  • Publication number: 20210097748
Abstract: Determining the rendering of user interface (UI) elements, referred to as views, based upon styleable transitions between possible states of a view. Transitions may include animation, such as to smoothly enter a view into or exit a view out of a scene over a number of rendering frames. Transitions also may be applied to view state changes related to a UI element, such as to indicate hovered over, focused, listening (for speech), selected and/or pressed. View state changes also may be animated.

  • Patent number: 10903979
Abstract: Batched execution of encryption operations is performed. A batched set of data for which format-preserving encryption is to be performed is obtained. The batched set of data includes a plurality of fields of data, which are independent of one another. Multiple rounds of format-preserving encryption are performed on the plurality of fields of data to provide an output of format-preserved encrypted data. A round of format-preserving encryption includes calling an encryption function to perform one or more encryption operations on the plurality of fields of data in parallel.

  • Patent number: 10839676
Abstract: A system and method which provide alarm audio verification testing in connection with a regional monitoring system operate in parallel with a local system control panel, or unit. The testing capability functions in a standalone mode relative to the monitoring system, and, can implement a test without causing a false alarm detectable by the panel.

  • Publication number: 20200336461
Abstract: A device, system, and method for defending a computer network are described. network communications are received by a traffic filter, which dynamically determines whether the communications include an anomaly (i.e., are “anomalous” communications), or whether the communications are normal, and do not include an anomaly. The traffic filter routes normal communications to the correct device within its network for servicing he service requested by the communications. The traffic filter routes any anomalous communications to a virtual space engine, which is configured to fake a requested service (e.g., to entice deployment of a malicious payload). Anomalous communications are analyzed using an analytical engine, which can dynamically develop rules for handling anomalous communications in-line, and the rules developed by the analytical engine can be employed by the traffic filter against future received communications.

  • Patent number: 10785191
Abstract: A router includes a processor-readable medium including code representing instructions to cause a processor to perform operations. The operations include routing received information communicated from a first network to a component associated with a service within a second network, responsive to a determination that the received information is to be handled by a service that exists within the second network. The operations also include routing the received information to a predetermined component, responsive to a determination that the received information is to be handled by a service that does not exist within the second network.

  • Patent number: 10754452
Abstract: The described technology is directed towards normalizing input received from various types of device types for providing the input to user interface (UI) elements in a unified way that reflects the invoke intent of the user. Input from different device types is classified as button input, pointer input or command input, and routed to a corresponding button provider, pointer provider or command provider. Each provider includes logic for communicating input data (e.g., events) to a UI element or elements. Based upon the input events, a UI element can execute a corresponding invoke handler to take an invoke action for that particular event.

  • Publication number: 20200264749
Abstract: The described technology is directed towards determining the rendering of user interface (UI) elements, referred to as views, based upon styles, in which styles comprise property values such as color value data, font data, border data, position data, and/or animation-related data applied to a view. A view object instance is returned upon request based upon an identifier that is used to select an unstyled view object and a style applied to that view object. The styles may be maintained as a fixed set of styles for a runtime session.

  • Publication number: 20200233998
Abstract: The described technology is directed towards a pre-child user interface element in a user interface tree that draws before the parent element draws, (and thus before any conventional child element of the parent draws). For example, based upon current state data such as whether the parent element has focus, the pre-child may draw a highlight or the like before (so as to be beneath) drawing the representation of the parent element, to indicate the focused state (or and/or other current state or states). The user interface tree maintains a property that it is composable because the parent user interface element code is independent of what any of its pre-child element or pre-children elements do when invoked.

  • Publication number: 20200198859
Abstract: A container (210) for holding granular or powdered material and formed by a top wall (212), a bottom wall (214), a front wall (216), a rear wall (218), a first side wall (220), and a second side wall (222). A rotatably removable lid (D) is interiorly mounted with a scoop (32) and is pivotally hinged to a collar (300) that includes a sealing gasket (330). The collar (300) mounts to the walls of the container (210). A sealing wall 240 of the lid (D) cooperates with the gasket 300 to prevent the contents from spilling. The container (210) incorporates powder control features, a container wall junction (50) preferred geometry and congruent scoop (32) enabling convenient access to the contents, a tolerance variation accommodating and strength improving, J-shaped collar (300) and interlocking indentations (290) and flex clips (310), and a pressure controlling portion (350) that prevents unwanted deformation due to pressure differentials.
